| There's a nice picture of Aisleyne wearing a pink bikini on page 16 of today's Daily Star.
It's part of Joe Mott's spread and he apologises for calling her a "Doris" after meeting her at the Penthouse relaunch party. He's clearly impressed with this new photo. |

It counts as more press coverage, I suppose.
And I see there's also a nice pic of Shilpa in the same edition if you need a further excuse to purchase. |

| Hopefully, we'll get to see some more of these pink bikini photos in future.
What is a Doris anyway? |

I haven't a clue, maringo, but I've known some very nice people caled Doris in my time (though none of them would have looked good in a bikini, pink or otherwise).
Meanwhile, here are some more suggested names that Joe could call Aisleyne, but only on condition that for each name he calls her, he then apologises along with a picture of Ash in a bikini. Colour optional, though itsy-bitsy-teeny-weeny-yellow-polka-dot does come to mind, (subject to availability).

| He called her a 'bit of a big girl' in his online column last week, by which I think he meant she was tall, not other 'big' things she may possess ...
Maybe he called her a 'Doris' to her face? Perhaps a question to pose in this week's radio show??

According to Wikipedia, among other thing “Doris”, in British rhyming slang, is a mild insult on a par with 'pansy' (from Doris Day) meaning gay. Hardly an apt description for someone as womanly as Aisleyne. Joe Mott has done the right thing by apologising.

If you go here you'll get what appears to be his meaning...
"A Postman's wife, generally, as In How is your Doris today? My Doris made some pies. Not someone you would take to the pub"
However, I prefer the definition here instead, which is much more appropriate given the bikini photos...
"Doris was a sea nymph in Greek mythology, whose name represented the bounty of the sea." |

| Maringo, Frank Drebin is open-mouthed in admiration at your Googlability. |

| I've now seen the picture. DEFINITELY sea-nymph, NOT pie-making postman's wife.
Though I bet Aisleyne CAN make excellent pies, whilst simultaneously perfecting a dance routine too! |

| Remember the Screen Siren "1940s" photoshoot? Well if they did a 1950's one I'd love to Aisleyne dressed as the early Doris Day as in Calamity Jane:
Calamity Jane (1953)
Doris Day shines as the Old West's sassy female sharpshooter in a rip-roarin' musical comedy about her travels to Chicago to bring back a famed opera singer to save her town's dance hall, but winds up returning with her maid.

Sounds like a Wild West Ghetto Princess to me! |

| In my neck of the woods, a "Doris" is just a term for one's female other half. Rather like saying "her indoors" or "the Missus", one says "Doris". |
