11th Urban Music Awards

The Urban Music Awards have become an established major feature on the music industry calendar, and Aisleyne has become pretty much a fixture at the annual event. Friday 22nd November saw the 11th awards ceremony at Porchester Hall, Bayswater and as on several previous occasions Aisleyne was given the honour of presenting an award. This year she presented the Best Newcomer Award to Jahmene Douglas, to their mutual pleasure and delight.

Aisleyne wore a Spirited Tribal trouser suit from Oui in Harpenden, a black pair of her favoured Louboutin shoes with jewellery by Tanya Igic. Or to quote the Daily Mail ".. a silky trouser suit with a coat which had a fluffy lining. She wore a pricey pair of Christian Louboutin stilettos and wore her hair in a quiff." The Mail also noted that Aisleyne and Jasmin Walia were photographed enjoying the company of X-Factor's Kingsland Road.

Others attending included Heather Small, Red Dwarf's Danny John-Jules, Gemma Atkinson, Amelia Lily and Lembit Opik.
