Mad Hatter's Tea Party

23 January 2011

Aisleyne went to a party with a difference on Sunday 23rd January. For one thing it was in the afternoon, and for another it was a Mad Hatter's Tea Party!

It was in fact the annual children's party organised by the London Taxi Drivers Fund for Underprivileged Children (LTFUC) whose patron is Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall.

It was being held at Grosvenor House, Park Lane, and Aisleyne was one of many celebrities attending to help give more than 700 disabled and disadvantaged children a day they would never forget. Along with parents, carers and other helpers there were more than 1,000 people there in total.

Aisleyne's hair was styled with a long fringe swept to the right and the remainder swept back into a single long pony tail. Her dress was a coral coloured day dress from her "Unique by Aisleyne" range, accessorised with an all black belt, tights and ankle boots with gold studs.

Aisleyne had taken care to dress "appropriately" for a Sunday afternoon with kiddies at Grosvenor House. However, once there she realised that perhaps she needn't have worried too much about excessive modesty, when she saw the Cheeky Girls, who are not exactly known for covering up, performing on stage - for the ninth year running!

Aisleyne drove there, and picked up her friend, the Variety Club's Caroline Monk en-route. Others attending included Joe Swash, Sue Pollard, and current Eastenders cast members Kylie Babbington (Jodie Gold) and Jacqueline Jossa (Lauren Branning).

Aisleyne posed for loads of pictures, signed autographs and generally joined in the fun with appreciative attendees.

That wasn't the only child-related event Aisleyne attended that day. After the party finished she went on to a baby shower!
