| There's a brief article in today's Sunday People. It suggests the possibility of a relationship between Aisleyne and ex-East 17 star, Brian Harvey. She did mention him on her last radio show, but only as a friend.

| Thanks for the Wikipedia link deeb! Here's the Wikipedia link for his ex-girlfriend, Emma B, so you can check the Sunday People's claim that she looks like Aisleyne...

| It's on page 12 of the newspaper. However, there's no picture of Aisleyne, just one of Brian Harvey.
By the way, didn't he used to be leader of the Conservative party?

| Thanks again maringo the ever-vigilant-one!
Even with no pic, there are quite a few "mentions" - so let's see what Celebdaq make of this one!
No wonder she was bigging up E17 on her show.
An d yeh, she should arrange a date - Thursday 5pm at Invincible Radio!
Presumably the Mirror will say she's only after his autograph.

Ash is much prettier than Emma B xxxx |

| Am I right in thinking that this is the first time The People have taken an interest in Aisleyne since BB7?
Another little sign of her increasing "goss-worthiness"?

| A quick search on the People's website shows that she hasn't been mentioned in any articles since July (when BB7 was still on). Even then, she doesn't seem to be the main focus of any of them. |

| Is this true, Brian seems quiet a vulnerable person. That doesn't mean he's not a nice person but like Ash he has been through a lot. IMO it is better to hook up with someone who is the opposite of you. Someone who can strengthen your weaknesses. If you're with someone who has a tendency to be depressed and you have the tendency to get depressed you may struggle to lift each other up in the hard times. Obviously it's all gossip at this stage but my wish for Ash would be for her to meet/hook up with someone with less baggage than her. That said Ash will/should do what she wants I am just giving my opinion all the best with what ever decision she makes, if there is any truth in this.
Take care

| Well if anyone reads the press they would know that Brian Harvey condones drugs and got into trouble with the media over it. He took every drug and at the time said he thought there was nothing wrong with it. I dont know Brian Harvey....so who am I to comment....what I will say is, that people will judge Aisleyne from who she mixes with...and drugs and Brian Harvey go together whenever his name is spoken.
As a responsible person I would not support anyone who is dabbling with drugs nomatter how wonderful I thought they were. Therefore, though I liked the music of East 17 I turned my back on them over the drugs situation with this Singer.
Hopefully he has cleaned up his act...if he has,nt I am very doubtful I will be hanging around this forum if he and Aisleyne become an item. You know what they say about leopards.
Sorry about that.

Emma B? I read in other reports that Emma Bunton was his girlfriend also...he had a nasty car freak accident where his car rolled on top of him and he thought he would never walk again...Emma Bunton was reported to be his girlfriend at the time...perhaps he has been out with both Emma B and Emma Bunton... |

As far as I know, her last mention was on Aug 20th...

I remember buying this along with the Sunday Mirror exclusive, so the story was mainly unexclusive and rather dubious. This Brian Harvey story could be equally dubious. |

| Actually Maringo you are probably right. There is probably no truth in the story regarding Brian Harvey. Remember, they only recently were saying that Ais was asking for autographs and pestering Geri Haliwell and that was a load of bunkum...so its quite likely that just because Ais said she liked Brian and that they were mates that it has been blown up in the press just for something to print.

With you totally on that, odm. I also believe he's alleged to have been involved in domestic abuse, serious crime, and thuggery also.

Yes, and cancels his concerts that people have paid tickets for.
I feel like I am being a bit of a grumpy cow and coming across as whiter than snow, but I cannot and will not support anybody who condones drugs when there are hundreds of kids out there easily influenced...
However, Bengos, I forgive anybody anything if they show that they are amending their ways. If I suddenly found out that he was doing something for the youth culture and generally working in anti drug campaigns and working towards an anti violent society, I would be on his bandwagon tomorrow....sadly though, I dont think he will be doing these things...do you. But another part of me is there saying that I should not judge anybody...and actually, that part of me is probably right..

| I think it's good to have principles, odm. As human beings, and largely "nice ones" I think we have a right to admonish bad behaviour when we see it. As you noted, there hasn't been much in the way of repentment. Let's just hope the story is a false one, or else chatroom on Thursday will be terribly, erm, interesting. |

Yes no doubt Ais could cover this story and tell us right or wrong whether it is true or not. The problem with being a celebrity is that people talk about you and put two and two together...she was quite irritated about the Geri Haliwell story and people saying she pestered Geri for autographs was,nt she?....so it will be interesting to hear if she mentiones anything about this little nugget being passed about.. |

I remember that article now. For some reason it doesn't show up on the site's own search engine.
It'll be interesting to see what Ash says about this on Thursday (or sooner). Even if it is true, it may not be anything serious. I think she should play the field a little bit and enjoy herself, after being involved in some intense relationships in the past. |
