Is that the one in red who started a wee dance when they announced the storeroom was open?

She did look a bit Ash-like, but I don't think it was UbA, but as you say, we didn't get a good enough look.

That is she - the 28-year-old sexy blonde who wants to be a model and TV presenter!

The Times Online, dateline 25 October, (so this could well be in Saturday's paper version), has an EXTREMELY interesting report about Dead Set.

It was clearly compiled during the shooting, and includes some startling (though not altogether surprising ) revelations about Aisleyne's fate.

Charlie has some of his usual kind words for Ash and Brian Belo, and also says who "Veronica" was inspired by (and it's NOT Aisleyne) .

I don't want to spoil it any further, link here:

Ah, so Aisleyne gets to sample some of the cuisine, rather than just being on the menu herself?

The Times newspaper also has this report, along with a picture of Aisleyne with the other housemates who are appearing.

There was a big double page spread about Dead Set in the Scotsman today, with an interview with Charlie.

No mention of Ash though.

Here's a turn-up for the books! A collector's item! A phenomenon

Our friends at HolyMoly have reviewed Dead Set, and are generally very enthusiastic about it.

They are unhappy with some of the actors' performance, but hand out acting bouquets to Jaime Winstone, and are particularly complimentary about the acting of Davina McCall ....

.... and a certain ex-housemate by the name of Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace!!

That report makes me want to see it even more.

The picture of Davina devouring the remains of whomever, almost makes me want to throw up, every time I look at it, so kudos to her for being able to do it. Not sure I could.

As we might have guessed, lowculture's hopes and expectations regarding Dead Set (and Aisleyne's part in it) are somewhat similar to our own!

Why do you wink, ofni?

Do we know this Steven Perkins fella?

He seems to be an Aisleyne fan anyway.

Really looking forward to seeing Aisleyne back on TV. I hope Dead Set is as good as it looks like it will be.

Nice little early (named) appearance there - helping to establish the authenticity!

That was a bit of a swizz. We never saw what happened to Ash and the other ex-housemates.

I presume we see more of her in a subsequent episode?
But i would have liked to have seen the zombification of Aisleyne.

I thought there must be, given what we read in The Times

And even tonight's brief little appearances caused quite a flurry of guests.

Very well written and performed drama based on Episode 1. Jamie Winstone is very convincing as the heroine. No expense spared on the gore and special effects! I thought I even caught one of the other (fictitious) housemates wearing Ash's MOBOs dress, but I could have been mistaken...

A review of the programme on the Holy Moly site:

http://www.holymoly.com/page/TV/0,,12643~1431000,00.html

Particularly liked this bit:

"When ex-Big Brother contestant Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace and Davina McCall act the professionals out of the park, you really need to ask some serious questions."

Great performance by Aisleyne! I'm not much of a horror fan but this looks a very interesting story - and since there's more Ais action to come I'm defo staying tuned to the end.

Fingers crossed this is the start of a glittering career for her.

Well Ash's 'Asp' dress got plenty of airtime tonight.
Just a pity Ash wasnae in it.

That notwithstanding, I really enjoyed this episode.
Bit slower paced, more 'Charlie' humour, very realistic dialogue.

Can't wait for more Aisleyne though.
