Aisleyne is interviewed on p54-55 of today's Sunday Express and talks about her involvement with Brain Tumour UK. Jenny Baker, chief executive of the charity, is also interviewed for the article.

The article is accompanied by a new picture of Aisleyne plus ones from BB7 and the 10K run (which she ran for Brain Tumour UK).

Thanks to OA for the tip-off...

The paper is in the shops now and only £1.30 (there's a free Petula Clark CD too).

It's an interesting article and nice to see this site get a plug at the end of it. Brain Tumour UK's website also gets a plug, and so does their helpline...

It is a very good article: great publicity for the charity (and Aisleyne too). Can't see anything on the express.co.uk site so far (pity).

It's a really good solid article, and will give Brain Tumour UK some good publicity.

It's also a really beautiful picture of Ash.
(Unfortunately in my copy some red ink seems to have got onto the photo, giving her the appearance of having a fevered brow. )

Thanks for the info.
I just bought the express. The pics of Aisleyne are really nice, and so is the article.
It should deffo make more people aware of Brain Tumour UK. I didnt realise so many people were affected by Brain Tumours. Its really sad and i hope more money can be donated to BTUK because its such a good cause.
Aisleyne will always be an inspiration to me and she's doing a great job raising awareness for the charity.
The pic where it says 'Aisleyne and her friend Lisa'...its not actually lisa is it? Maybe its her friend.xxxx

What an excellent article and a wonderful picture!

How good to see Aisleyne in an article like that about such a serious matter, showing her in such a positive way as well as giving some good publicity to the charity. I'd call that a real win-win for both Ash and Brain Tumour UK.

And as for that photograph - especially those eyes! Sensational!

I agree. Very positive coverage and a great way of raising awareness of this killer condition.

Excellent article (shame about the mix up with the picture). Great to see Aisleyne given such a platform as the Express to discuss something so close to her heart.

This nice letter appeared in yesterday's Sunday Express...

Bravo Aisleyne

AISLEYNE Horgan-Wallace should be commended for her efforts to highlight the work of the charity Brain Tumour UK (“Why I’m using Big Brother fame to help brain tumour victims”, Sunday Express, August 19).

I doubt that many others who have appeared on Big Brother would take the time to do something like this, so Aisleyne should be proud of herself.

She showed strength and depth of character on the show last year and I’m pleased to hear that this is continuing outside the house.

Well done for helping Aisleyne highlight this important issue.

Excellent!

Would Mike Graham be an OA FM, by any chance? If so, well done to you, Mike!
