 | As it's his birthday, it's about time we started a thread on him.
Here's a New Woman article on his birthday...

 http://www.nwdaily.co.uk/CelebrityGossipView.aspx?id=3255

There's also a poll on whether his stupidity is all an act. What do you think?

 | I bet Aisleyne will love this latest twist of Brian being let in on the secret as a secret task for his birthday.
It reminds me of Imogen's hilarious "milky moments" last year. ("What's a saboteur? " )

 | Is Brian the biggest fraud in BB history? He Got the most questions right in the intelligence test. That does not fit in right with someone who has never heard of Shakespeare and thought Wales did not have modern plumbing.

 | None of those links work.
While it's quite possible that Brian has, on occasion, exaggerated his ignorance I do not believe he has masked his personality at all. He is a lovely, funny, self-deprecating guy with no ego and lot of good will towards everyone. He wears his heart on his sleeve and it's a big heart.

In any case. the IQ test proves nothing. IQ has nothing to do with knowledge or education and we already know that he is capable of some deep and insightful thinking

I'd probably prefer the twins or Ziggy to win but I wouldn't be unhappy if Brian won. I think he's been a brilliant housemate.

So what if the ignorance is fake? It means he's making an effort to be comedic and interesting. I don't see that as a bad thing.

 Regards

 Julian

 | But if being ignorant is an act then do we believe anything else from him.  Maybe he is acting like a nice fella and is not nice.  You can't blame the viewers if they view all of his actions with suspicion.  Strange how he was not stupid when he thought there was a chance of winning immunity. |

I don't believe you can "act nice" for 9 weeks. You either are or you aren't.

Interesting that the lie detector task asked all the questions the cynics are asking. I'm not a cynic but I'm still deeply suspicious about that lie detector. Surely they'd need to at least calibrate the thing first

 | The lie detector was not even connected. It was just someone with a buzzer. As for Brian he has managed to act ignorant for 9 weeks. He did not look too pleasant neither today when he was not allowed to have any input in the shoping. His behaviour when storming around the garden was quite disturbing. |

 | I've done a bit of investigating about the lie detector and can prove it wasnt:
not that we need the proof, about from a few mis-guided people who actually believe it, but heres the proof.

Every year BB gets all the stuff, furniture, task equipment etc supplied to them and give credit to the supplies on the official website. I went to look and guess what? Not a single supplier that would have supplied a lie detector.

Like I said most of us realise it wasnt real, but this proves it.

 | Im sorry but brian just makes me want to turn the telly over his voice grates on me and he is irritating putting it mildly i don t think he is a bad person far from it but i hate it when people get pulled in by some stupid act of playing dumb yes i realise its a game but personally i want to see people being natural not acting to pull the wool over our eyes and IF he isnt acting and playing dumb then i like him even less cause in this day and age there is no excuse for stupidity ! Its great he is a fan of ais but then he likes many of the people i like in the house also in anycase sorry guys but i just dont see him as a worthy finalist let alone a winner .

 | As, according to Aisleyne's last diary entry, he's the "loveliest boy ever", I thought I'd remind people that his Hollyoaks cameo is on tonight...
