| I note in the new 'Daq Diary the following eventa week today:
Thursday 10 May 2007
ROK!ing All Over The World party
Old Billingsgate, London
Celebs are expected at the gossip magazine's superbly named 11th birthday bash. Wonder if Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas will attend?
http://www.bbc.co.uk/celebdaq/daq_diary/
As I doubt they will, I wonder if Ash will be fit enough to go; we recall with pleasure her last OK! party outing at Christmas.

And in CZJ's absence maybe another dark Welsh beauty might be there instead?

| YESSSSSSSS! RESULT!!
Well actually Result and a Half.
I 've received the following email from Celebdaq Towers:
Hi there
Thanks for your email.
We are planning a batch of name changes, Aisleyne will be one of them.
Take your point re. Darren Lyons - although he might be increasingly in our consciousness and on our tv screens but how much is he really in the newspapers? We'll have a think about him. Maybe put him up for the vote in the future.
Best wishes.

| Well done ofni! If they do change her name to just Aisleyne (or AHW), then she'll be near the top of the share list and people will be more likely to buy her shares. |

Yes she'll be 4th in the Overview list, after 50cent (!), Abi Titmuss, and Adele Silva - and just above Alan Sugar!
I know it's "only a game", but it's got to be seen as a real indicator of how she IS moving on from BB. |

Thanks IntOb. My overinflated ego would like to think the email had some inflluence, but the rest of me hopes it was Aisleyne's star status that was leading them down that route anyway.
Anyway, it looks like Darryn's got to get himself some press mentions too, though I don't think flashing his man-boobs outside Funky Buddha will quite cut it!
(BTW I accidently pressed edit instead of quote on your post hence the "mystery edit" - sorry!)

I reckon he needs to develop a much more attention-grabbing fashion style. His current look is too conservative. |

| A name change must be a very good sign that she's here to stay for the foreseeable future :-)
Kate and Jade are the only remaining 'regular' BBers with their full names on the list.

And didn't I hear that they both got the push from the 'Daq first, only to be re-instated when their celeb-status warranted it? If so that would make Aisleyne unique to BB itself, with only Chantelle any sort of parallel.
(Doh! Quote, ofni, quote, NOT edit!)

Yes rudy I think it is. At present Ash is identified by the name BB7 Aisleyne, which always prompts the "Shilpa test" - (Her claim to fame is this?). Giving her her own name back, removes that BB7 tag, which must be a good indicator that she is indeed "moving on".
I just had an awful thought though. You don't think the OTHER double-barrelled BB7 survivor is going to get the same treatment? Surely not! |

Gracie? catchy enough?
No I don't mean that, rudy. I mean that I would expect BB7 Grace to go the way of all other BB7 HMs except Aisleyne, and get ejected from the celebdaq altogether (Pete looks certain to go on Monday).
I think Aisleyne WILL be known by her full name, there are other longer names already on the listings. |

Location: [Male] East Yorkshire | ofni - 2/5/2007 18:29 [...] BTW given that Gemma A is on the rota, her share price of £1.02 must be a snip! That'll be my first decision Friday morning after I pick up my dividends from Myleene, Dani, Shilpa and of course (though I won't be selling them) Aisleyne. Hmm, that's what I thought after the Star printed a blotchy version of this:
Gemma's share price rose by £0.01 EDIT: Great job with the Aisleyne name-change email suggestion, Ofni.

| I've been wondering how they'll actually work the change. As well as the sharename there's the six-character label, where for Aisleyne is BB7AIS, which I assume is the database name to which all the transactions are posted, and the history graphs generated etc. There's also her share price which is, I'm sure, somewhat inflated from BB7 days, on a similar but smaller scale to the mega-inflated prices of the Jades, Victorias etc. i think this results from what happens when millionaires are kneecapped and their holdings liquidated and converted to status symbols. (Please correct me if you know better).
I'm wondering if they'll actually do a new IPO in the new name, with a new six-letter ident and an IPO price more realistically set in the range, say £1.20 - £1.50. A price in this range would encourage more trading in the share, which I think is what is good for continued survival in the market, along of course with continuing dividends.
A short poll; Whose post was most interesting?
1. deeb's previous post.
2. this one.
I've now voted - So that's one vote to deeb so far.

| Aisleyne's share price briefly broke through £5.00 a few minutes ago, but is now at £4.99. So if you've any spare cash you might like to buy her back up above £5.00 - just for the heck of it!
And guess what, Gemma Atkinson shares have gone up from £1.01 to £1.04 overnight.
Does this mean, deeb, that Imogen L-W and Yvette are now distant memories, and it's all about Gemma now?

| Unfortunately I don't have a large cash balance but I have just gone 100% into 8495 Aisleyne shares for the heck of it and because I think that Celebdaq towers have their eye on Aisleyne at the moment. Regarding the short poll, my vote has to go to deeb's post on aesthetic value.

Nice one IntOb, that seems to have worked it - price is now £5.02.
A very wise deployment of your 300% weekly gain! |

| Celebdaq have announced another bulk de-listing of 10 "under-performers", and again there's a smattering of reality-show types, including guess who?......and guess "Dr Who"? ....... and, of course, NOT including guess who?
The list is:
BB7 Grace , Christopher Eccleston (who?), Dean Gaffney, Ian Watkins, Kanye West, Lucy Liu, Charlie Simpson, Matthew Fox, Michelle Dewberry*, Samia Smith
Now how should I vote................? Tough one.........NOT!
In the current poll, Pete's definitely a goner, and Princess Eugenie looks like edging it over Gabby. I assume the new bulk poll will come into action after 8.30pm this evening
* I was thinking about Michelle Dewberry earlier - she and the Badger are the only other reality show name-changes I could think of who swapped their reality ident (APP-whatever) to realname - so Micheelle's de-list is a bit of a warning that nobody's safe.

| In this week's dividend list Aisleyne is comfortably mid-table (ie 150-oddth place), and in the following "interesting" juxtaposition:
Jessica Alba : 1.0584
BB7 Aisleyne : 1.0584
Sven Goran Eriksson : 1.0583
No comment.
Full table here:

Thanks! I didn't notice this earlier, as I was distracted by the dividend list.
So, if this vote goes anything like the last one, it looks like Aisleyne is going to be the one remaining BB7 share. However, it won't be for long, if they're going to drop the BB7 from her name soon. |
