Nicola Mclean's (Extended) Birthday

When we heard on the grapevine that Aisleyne would be joining her pal Nicola Mclean's birthday celebrations on September 19th, we guessed that there might be some fun Twitterpics and maybe a few paparazzi shots to look forward to.

We didn't really expect that it would turn into something of a "Day in the Life" media marathon, but we should have known better, because that's exactly how it turned out!

It began in the afternoon when Aisleyne and TOWIE's Maria Fowler were in Brentwood together, for some pampering and shopping in preparation for the evening's celebrations. No sooner had an enterprising snapper spotted them and filed a collection of photos of the pair, than the Daily Mail had published a report in minute detail of their exploits!

First stop for the girls was a visit to Amy Childs' beauty salon. The Mail reported that Aisleyne "kept covered up in a black jumper, wetlook leggings and strapped leather heeled sandals (and) chic white mid-length coat".

The pair then hit a few store to pick up a cake, treats and balloons, all fully documented in words and pictures by the Daily Mail.

Even when they returned to their hotel, their preparations for the party continued to attract media attention by way of various comments and pictures via Twitter. At one point, Aisleyne was jokingly complaining about how long Maria was taking to get ready and threatened to go out wearing what looked from her tweeted picture rather like a Borat-style mankini! The Daily Star loved that (didn't we all?). And they were also impressed when Aisleyne tweeted another selfie of the daring red crop-top and matching skirt that she actually wore for the evening.

Finally it was time to party as the girls joined birthday girl Nicola and a host of other celebs and guests at Mick Norcross's Sugar Hut venue. Cue even more media coverage from the Daily Mail (again!) and OK! Magazine, among others, with plenty of attention being given to Aisleyne's sizzling red outfit, matched with black stilettoes and black handbag.

But even all that wasn't the end of it.

Saturday night came, and Aisleyne joined Nicola yet again for further birthday festivity - and even more media coverage - as they partied again, this time at the Cafe de Paris. For that evening Aisleyne went for a black top and cream skirt. Somewhat more demure than the previous night, but still showing just a little of that ever-so-toned midriff.

In her Closer magazine column Nicola said "I'm getting too old for two nights out in a row, Aisleyne came with me and she's always the life and soul of the party!"

Aisleyne is clearly the party girl's party girl!
