| Apparently there is going to be no crowd tonight. I have already remarked about that today on Fakers. Considering that Gordon Brown and the Prime Minister are falling over themselves to smooth things out with India, it is highly unlikely they are going to jeopardise anyones safety by public eviction. Especially if Jade goes. They are burning effigies in India of the BB bosses so all hell could break loose. My lovely friend HG has been writing to me and telling me that Jade still wont shut up. Having obviously been tipped off in the BB Diary Room, she last night was bragging about her perfume and book. The upshot is that it seems there has been another fracas with Shilpa who is now saying maybe she ( shilpa )will get evicted in order to 'save her'. On the other hand, there is some kind of rumour that Jade is blaming Shilpa for any bad press she is going to get or if her career is ruined.. Apparently Jade has been bragging that her PR. 'John' can get her out of anything.....Jade is also taking it upon herself to 'advise' Jo to bring an album out when she gets out..... Is this woman deluded...?

Big Brother has probably told him what's going on outside and he's decided he'd rather stay in the house now. |

| gaffo8 - 19/1/2007 18:26 thanks for the updates!! Hiya Your welcome. Heres the latest about Jo....too. G-A-Y polls customers on Jo performanceDay 17, 18:12 UTC - by James Welsh Gay nightclub G-A-Y is polling its customers on whether a performance by Jo scheduled for February 3 should go ahead.
"I can guarantee you that Jo is not a racist, the question is - is she a bully or just following the nastiness of Jade?" asked owner Jeremy Joseph on the club's website. "As the owner of G-A-Y, I totally condemn any form of bullying and have been in 2 minds whether Jo should be allowed to perform at G-A-Y, so I'm letting you decide.
"If you see Jo as a bully you should vote for her not to perform at G-A-Y, however if you feel Jo has been led astray by Jade and can redeem herself, or that this is just a conflict of personalities in a gameshow, then you should vote for Jo to perform at G-A-Y."

| I have just heard that Jade and others were in the hot tub and an aeroplane went overhead with a trailing banner saying BB BULLIES OUT.... they had to go inside the house apparently..... I think there is NO DOUBT why there should NOT be a crowd this evening....I think it is potentially far more dangerous then the business with Aisleyne this time round.and that is not said to lessen the disgraceful way our Aisleyne was treated...but having said that Aisleyne I think was part of the catalyst for people realising that it is time crowds were removed in these kind of situations. I am starting to think of BB as Frankensteins baby. |

| I think it was good that there was no crowd, because it gave Jade a chance to explain herself, a chance to explan her side of the story.
I wonder if there will be a crowd for Danielle and Jo when they are evicted. |

It depends on how many evictions there are before the final night, I suppose.
There are eight of them in there, and it doesn't look like they are going to put any more in now, so there will probably be only three more evicted before the final night.
Perhaps a double and a single?
Obviously they will have to have a crowd on final night or it will be a very dismal affair. |

| People are saying...what we have been thinking....
Goody was tipped off, say viewers
By Chris Hastings, Arts and Media Editor, Sunday Telegraph
Last Updated: 12:02am GMT 21/01/2007
Channel 4 is facing allegations that it warned housemates about the public reaction to the bullying of Shilpa Shetty and then staged a cynical damage limitation exercise.
Jade Goody received 82 per cent of the public vote
Many viewers were convinced that Jade Goody's behaviour before and after her eviction on Friday night indicated that she knew of the public response to her alleged racial taunting of Shetty.
If Big Brother producers did brief any of the housemates about the race row controversy raging outside the house, it would constitute a breach of the show's strict rules.
Yesterday, there was mounting suspicion that Goody's post-eviction interview with the programme's host, Davina McCall, who has the same agent as Goody, had been staged. Some viewers suggested that Goody's replies were so stilted that she could have been recalling a prepared script. Without prompting, she defended producers against claims that the show had been edited to portray her in the worst possible light.

Location: Edgware, Middlesex | Cynicism is always rife in these situations
I saw plenty of evidence that Jade didn't know for sure the scale of the problem but the grilling about the 'Poppadom' incident (which BB was pretty much required to do) would have tipped her off to what the public were thinking. Whether the apology to Shilpa was damage limitation or a genuine realization that she'd done wrong after reflecting on the issue, I couldn't say but, either way, it was the right thing to do so I can't hold it against her.
Jade is savvy enough to know that being branded a racist is not going to do her career any good at all and she would have had plenty of time to rehearse her arguments in her head for the inevitable questions that she knew she would be facing.
People always blame the editing for making you look bad but the argument is always that you can't edit someone to have said something if they didn't say it. So Jade made it clear that she doesn't blame the editing because she wants to be seen as taking full responsibility for her actions. Nothing to do with defending producers!

| AND...What Jade said in May 2006...
I saw this in an interview Jade did in May 2006.
http://www.guardian.co.uk/Columnist...1781697,00.html
"I am driven. I never lived in a house. We always lived in a council flat and I want a cosy house. I don't want to be waiting for the Giro - I know what that's like and I don't want it." Does that mean she is addicted to fame? "No, I don't need that. I think with some of these women, like Rebecca Loos and Jodie Marsh, they should realise it's over. Celebrity is finished for them and they need to go and do something else. I would walk away if I was them. And if it ended for me tomorrow, I would say, 'I've had a great time.' But I would walk away."
She contrasts herself with Michael Barrymore, the entertainer who fell from public grace. He hails from Bermondsey, too: she used to water his mum's plants. "He was so adored and then it stopped because something bad happened. He wanted to make everybody love him again when he went in Celebrity Big Brother. If you've been as loved as he was, of course you're going to want it back. I'm not like that. I don't expect anything." What do you want to be doing when you're 50? "I want to be retired, living in a big house, with my kids grown up, happily married to a man who puts me on a pedestal |

Yes, but the front cover of Now magazine says "Jade, we hate you. The nation turns on thick racist bully." Hardly a positive article!
