| Local paper the South London Press carries the story.
"Jackiey Budden says she was attacked outside a Bermondsey bank. The 49-year-old was allegedly pounced on by four Asian youths next to Barclays Bank in Abbey Street."
The report describes how after the incident she alerted a passing policeman and that she'd only that week returned to the flat after a group of youths threw stones at her flat.
Jackiey said, "I don't want to let these people force me out of my manor."
The police say they searched the bank's CCTV but failed to identify any attacker or the incident.
A police spokesperson said, "There was an allegation of verbal abuse, but we have investigated and it does not constitute an offence. We are not taking this any further." | |
