Location: Scottish Borders | It's rock for me, anything guitar based.
I'm also occasionally tempted by a wee bit folk, as you can see from my thread further down the page. |

| Well some of you already know I sing for a living..so I have to keep my options pretty open about taste. My audiences will want to hear anything from ' way back then' to current chart so my tastes are definately pretty diverse. I love quite a lot of dance/trance material too....I adored Brainbug when it first came out..I had every version of it...I am a terrific fan of beat and rhythm..so the LOUDER it is THE BETTER......I LIKE IT LOUD. Its probably to do with the P.A. systems I have used.. I love Crazy Knarls Barkeley thats cool and when it comes to singers I dont think there is a better vocalist than Christine Aguilera..that girl has a hot sound and fantastic octaves.... from the old school motown... it has to be Patti Labelle for me,her voice rocks... I have always taken my hat off to Michael Jackson for changing the face of music in the early eighties too. We should thank him for bringing in a whole new style of video/dancing/cheoreography and effects...Usher, Vanilla Ice and most of the dance movements are based on MJ...as are the vocals..he introduced a very high range of vocal sounds that has been copied everywhere...so credit due to the source.... Elvis also is unforgettable...everyone you see today...are copycats..the real thing... happened already.... I would like to thank Ais for introducing me to the song Wonderful by Indra Arie that she played on her Radio show last week...cheers Aisleyne. xxxxx

| I adore these people - The Jacksons- All I can say is to watch the professionals at work. They really are fantastic. Got this off DS.. Jermaine's last stage show. It was the unification of Jacksons in 2001, September 2001 for 30th anniversary of Michael's Solo Career in Madison square Garden This was a DAY before 9/11... two momentous events in a row if you ask me. Anyway, back to these boys...I have a tear in my eye... The Jacksons at Madison Square Garden Part 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XrAsuBnWvdE and here is part 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a4sxVXXAmXM&mode=related&search= and here is of MAN IN THE MIRROR which Jermaine mentioned in the house. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1zpTQCQEFhg&mode=related&search= and finally BILLIE JEAN..amazing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Jp89WsMkBo This music emotionally moves me

| My favourite singer is Annie Lennox. I love Mary J Blige I think Mariah and Sade are okay too. I love inspirational gospel music. I am not necessarily really into styles, I'll judge any sort of music on it's quality not by its genre necessarily.
'Annie has won numerous awards Brits Grammy's and even an oscar' She is a beautiful singer who sings from the heart. She is great on video but also great live as well
