The Sun's website are carrying a story which those of you who follow Aisleyne on Twitter will already be aware of.

Last night (Saturday) Aisleyne had a most upsetting experience when she witnessed someone throw themselves under the train she was travelling on.

The Sun has reproduced some her tweets:

She also expressed concern for those most affected by the incident, and later tweeted that she was feeling better and getting over the shock.

She must have written the 3 tweets at around 7pm yesterday. I've no doubt that it must have been a horrible experience for Aisleyne. In the wrong place at the wrong time yet again. Am I missing something here or has the Sun newspaper covered a story of this nature on the evidence of a passenger's tweets? It does seem a little strange to me if this is the case. Maybe I should not be surprised.

papers often do this now. They write a story purely on what has been written or a photo being posted on Twitter. It saves them time rather than actually doing journalism

Then why not type a load of nonsense and see if that ends up in the paper?
