According to UnrealityTV.co.uk, the new series of Snog Marry or Avoid on BBC3 starts in February and will include a number of celebrity "makeunders", including Denise Mason, the Cheeky Girls, current CBBHM Michelle Heaton, past CBB HMs Jodie Marsh and Chantelle, and one past BBHM called, what was her name again? - oh yeah, AISLEYNE!

Now you may think as I do that Ash has already re-invented her image quite considerably since those heady days immediately post-BB7, but I'm sure it will be fascinating to see what happens in this programme.

What do you reckon?

It's not my usual sort of thing, but obviously Aisleyne's appearance means compulsory viewing.

I'll quite enjoy seeing some of those celebrities getting scrubbed down.

Quite sure Ash isn't in need of any change though.

I've just had a proper look at the page, and it seems to be all done through computer graphics?

That's cheating.

If its the same as Series 1 its not done through computer graphics, its just they use a computer-type 'interface' to select things like ideal hair colour and lipstick etc. The transformation then appears instantaneous, thanks to the way they edit it.

I see that the programme is produced by Cheetah Television - an Endemol company

Here's the Endemol announcement last September about the re-commissioning - seems like it's an iPlayer fave

The new series of "Snog Marry Avoid?" starts next Monday 16 Feb, and it looks like the first celeb to get "the treatment" is Chantelle Houghton. In her case I guess they could get Preston to comment as he has done all three .... and in the right order!

I watched the first one with Chantelle.
It was a bit fluffy, but fun.

I think Jodie Marsh is next week?

One thing though. They don't get naked, so that must have just been for the mag shoot.

I don't as yet know when the edition featuring Aisleyne is due to be aired, but I HAVE heard a whisper that she has recorded a promo for it, which is intended to be shown earlier that evening at the end of Eastenders (so just before 8pm) on BBC1.

ETA:

Heatworld announce that they are "officially obsessed" with SMA? and have an extended preview video of the Jodie Marsh POD analysis. They also mention some of the other celebs to be featured, including Aisleyne.

How could they not be obsessed with SMA? They heard that their beloved Aisleyne was involved in it.

I believe there's 13 episodes in this series, so we may have a bit of a wait until Ash is on
Good to hear she'll be doing a promo right after EastEnders though ;-)

Seems to be a lot of media interest in this programme, and the audience figures for last night's programme (Chantelle) were up on the previous series, which was itself seen as a success for BBC3 (hence the longer run and the "celeb" angle for this second series)

UK TV Guide agree with your schedule, empty, and revive a highly relevant, if slightly obvious, catchphrase in their programme summary

ETA:

Same details, same catchphrase, now on the BBC website schedule:

Shows how hard it is to 'escape' the BB tag when people still use it (and your 'catchphrase' nearly 3 years later....at least it shows the catchphrase has endured!

That was nice to see apart from the public comments. They must have been part of the BB audience.

Heatworld feature the video, with great glee in the comments from "the public", of course

I'm inclined to agree with their final comment, though it IS a tad OTT, perhaps?

TV doesn’t get much better than this.

The fact that the preview is now out there would suggest she is on next Monday. Thought she was a little OTT at the beginning but I thought her make up looked great especially the eyes. Maybe a few years back she might have needed a bit of a make-under but I think her make up is done massively better now.

Look at me, acting as if he knows what he is talking about when it comes to make up.... still you know what I mean

I've never had a problem with Aisleyne's makeup. In fact, based on some of the early morning sans-makeup looks we got to see in BB I always used to be really impressed by Aisleyne's skill at makeup

Sorry Ash

Still, if it gets her on TV they can call it as overdone as they want

Regards
