Aisleyne will not be filming any more episodes of Celebrity: Stars at Work. Instead, she will appearing in her own 60 minute show 'Aisleyne'. The new show is likely to initially air on Red TV. Work on the production has now begun.

The new 'Aisleyne' programme will not be a simple fly-on-the-wall documentary, although some of Aisleyne's appearances, meetings and other activities will continued to be filmed. Aisleyne Limited will have ultimate control of the programme's format and 'look', and is currently working with the production team to finalise the segments to be included in the show.

One element planned is 'Ask Ash' type content, in which Aisleyne will respond to viewers questions, requests and suggestions, very much as she has in magazines and radio programmes in the past. To kick this off, forum members are now being given the opportunity to submit questions and requests for the first programme.

There are no constraints on what may be asked, requested or suggested, though forum members are reminded that TV is a visual medium, so questions that could perfectly well be dealt with via radio or any printed form are unlikely to be included.

Questions, requests or suggestions should be submitted by email before 18th January to info@aisleyne.com, with the subject 'Aisleyne show'. Emails must include your real name (NOT forum name) and town, which may be read out during the programme. Only emails which feature in the programme will be dealt with; other emails will not be answered individually.

Viewers will be requested to submit emails for the second and subsequent programmes to the address that will appear on screen during the broadcast.

"The Aisleyne Show".
It has a good ring to it.

Glad to hear that Aisleyne Limited will have overall control.

This sounds great. A TV show called just 'Aisleyne' - its what we've all secretly dreamed of, I suspect. Ok so its not primetime BBC1 - yet - but its a start. I'll have to think up some creative questions to send in. The more questions guys, the better.

I've just read this news and responded in my usual way to good news. Now that my feet are back on the ground, I wish to congratulate all concerned and wish Aisleyne the best of luck with her new show. As others have pointed, we all have to do our bit and come up with good ideas during the next week.

Aisleyne is due to be filming segments for the 'Aisleyne' show all day Wednesday 23rd. This will be new, non fly-on-the-wall style, material.

Premierscfc, I am a bit confused. You said she was going to do an "Ask Ash" section, similiar to what she did in magazines and on the radio, and ask us for questions, but then you sort of say that anything of this type is unlikely to be used? So I dont quite see what type of question needs to be sent. Or am I just being thick? (and there better not be any "yes" answers to that from everyone.....lol)

Yes

If there are too many questions to fit in to the timeframe then the ones that are better suited for a TV show will probably get preference.  Basically TV is a visual medium and we would like people to take advantage of that.

OK, thanks and because of your "yes" answer, my question is Should a Stoke City fan ever call himself Premierscfc when its just wishful thinking?

All the best Ash, this is a brilliant opportunity the ball is in your court. I hope you and your advisers come up with great ideas.
This is an opportunity to showcase your skills, I think you are a natural presenter, and you look great on TV. This I hope will be a stepping stone to greater things. (I am probably repeating myself but I really do wish you well). Perhaps this will end up on another channel, T4 would be great.

Good promo, depending on how this show takes shape, it's presentation, it could well open doors for Aisleyne in America not only here.

I imagine "Aisleyne" the show to be like a magazine type program, covering different stuff, fashion, music, community stuff, special guest interviews, what's on Aisleyne's opinion on what's hot what's not, Ask Aisleyne, competitions, Aisleyne's diary for the week ahead etc (segments showing attendance to red carpet events/or even breaks abroad). I am guessing of course I could be completely wrong. I wonder if it will include a segment for fashion make-overs. This could be an idea, to make the day of someone who is less fortunate in the community, or as the result of someone winning a competition. There are so many different ways the show could go. It should be good.

Whatever shape the show takes all the best.......

I'm really excited about the prospect of an Aisleyne show and I don't want to be negative but, I have to say, I'm not particularly impressed by that promo. Why would comments like "I feel sick" and "I'm feeling miserable" encourage people to want to watch something? There were plenty of upbeat and funny comments to choose from that would have been a much more positive hook

Any screentime has got to be a good thing but I haven't been particularly impressed by the channel's programme-making skills up till now and that promo doesn't exactly fill me with confidence either

Regards

Julian

I think it's an excellent promo with plenty of positive images of Aisleyne; maybe some more upbeat soundbites might have been chosen, but I don't think that really matters at all.

The key thing to me is that this programme gives Aisleyne a huge opportunity to showcase what she can do, on effectively her own terms. If she can combine that with smaller appearances on more mainstream programmes then so much the better.

Maybe we're getting a bit blase, but a few months ago we would have been delighted to learn that Ash would be on a TV programme modelling clothes. The fact that both the clothes label and the TV programme bore her name would have been just too amazing to think about.

I agree, a few soundites of Ash saying she's miserable (probably exaggerating) and feeling sick (definitely exaggerating) don't really bother me - its a little promo showing Ash's range of emotions and sayings. Its a pity they didn't use the one where she's worried she might "gatch" pneumonia, though :0)
