ofni - 4/5/2007 10:32 Celebdaq have announced another bulk de-listing of 10 "under-performers", and again there's a smattering of reality-show types, including guess who?......and guess "Dr Who"? ....... and, of course, NOT including guess who? The list is: BB7 Grace , Christopher Eccleston (who?), Dean Gaffney, Ian Watkins, Kanye West, Lucy Liu, Charlie Simpson, Matthew Fox, Michelle Dewberry*, Samia Smith Now how should I vote................? Tough one.........NOT!

I need to say farewell to Samia.

Presumably 'Coronation Street' screen-grabs?

Much smaller fish to fry, next week.

You took the words out of my mouth, Interested. Good news, huh? bit puzzled about the divi though, it's presumably to do with today's boob poll, but Grace is showing zero divi - not that that matters as such, it's just, well, odd.

The day traders seem to be particularly active at the moment, with some shares appearing in the fastest movers then fastest losers (or vice versa) a very short time later. My recent "hot tip" Gemma A shot from rock bottom £1.01 to £1.20 today, but is now fastest loser, due to profit-taking, so I've sold my holdings. Danielle, Shilpa, Myleene and others are showing similar volatility. It's all too clever for me.

I take it that Pete lost out to Faria Alam, and that Princess Eugenie will be joining her big sis on the daq. The bulk de-list vote (incl BB7 Grace) is now underway and the early voting suggests a heavy majority for eviction, just like the last time. In the listing poll is none other than Aisleyne's bosom buddy and breast friend Bianca Gascoigne, who has been an unsuccessful IPO candidate before, and who looks like she's losing out yet again, this time to "Noel Fielding (comedian) " - if they have to EXPLAIN who he is WHY is he being nominated? Oh and Holly Branson - yet another "I'm a Celebrity 'cos my dad's rich and famous" candidate.

Aisleyne is at £5.10, and in the current snapshot is showing as 5th top mover; by a rather quirky co-incidence Gemma Atkinson is 5th big loser.

Very heavy at the moment...

Vote FOR bulk celeb de-list (see Statements) 84% (88 votes)
Vote AGAINST bulk de-list (see Statements) 15% (16 votes)

You should remember him from the Charlotte Church show episode that Aisleyne appeared in. I voted him in, as I'm a big Mighty Boosh fan. Sorry Bianca!

Holly looks like the most fun of the three, to me. She seems to have a medical degree (unless it's one of those you buy off the 'Net).

HOLLY'S GROWING ON WILLS

Prince William 'gets cosy' with Holly Branson

Holly Branson - the royal's favourite society girl

Looks like she'll have less chance than Gabby Logan had.

It is rudy.

Though I think the market must be a little sluggish at the moment, because Aisleyne's share price has just moved all of 1p from £5.12 to £5.13, and this has put her into the latest snapshot as 13th biggest mover! I must be an even sadder anorak than I thought I was to reckon that that's worth recording!

Aisleyne's single-handedly (sorry Ash) taking the p**s out of the other housemates. (Not including you Michael .. or Susie.)

Queen Aisleyne rules the roost from her sickbed.

Thanks OA. Ash briefly touched £5.15 last night, then I sold a bunch to daytrade, whereupon the price fell to £5.12 (then went back to £5.13 see above). I bought lots of Myleene stock, lost a packet on her overnight, sold again and bought back into Aisleyne, at which point her price went back to £5.15. So her latest price movements were either co-incidental or all my doing!

so, I wonder who else beside Aisleyne is due to get a "rename"? i could only see the following possibles:

Cheryl Cole is still listed as Cheryl Tweedy.
Does Mel C prefer Melanie Chisholm now? What about Mel B?
Chantelle could become Chantelle Preston? And Preston Samuel Preston? (I'm confusing myself with that pair!)

Any other suggestions?

As expected, Pete Bennett has been removed from Celebdaq, leaving only Aisleyne and Grace Adams-Short. Princess Eugenie has taken his place...

Grace is one of several celebs up for delisting and things aren't looking too good for her...

So one year on, in Celebdaq's view, the winner is ........ AISLEYNE!

Wonder when they'll do the name change?

If we're really going to put our silly season anoraks on, then I'll put up a pointer to £5.40, which was the highest post-BB price Aisleyne shares briefly reached in early December, before they did "the big drop" to around £4.20, before beginning the gradual steady rise through 2007 to the present giddy height. Wonder how much of this week's divi money would be needed to make that happen this weekend......?

And while I've got me anorak on, I'll add to this:

ofni - 3/5/2007 21:54

I've been wondering how they'll actually work the change. As well as the sharename there's the six-character label, where for Aisleyne is BB7AIS, which I assume is the database name to which all the transactions are posted, and the history graphs generated etc. There's also her share price which is, I'm sure, somewhat inflated from BB7 days, on a similar but smaller scale to the mega-inflated prices of the Jades, Victorias etc. i think this results from what happens when millionaires are kneecapped and their holdings liquidated and converted to status symbols. (Please correct me if you know better).

I'm wondering if they'll actually do a new IPO in the new name, with a new six-letter ident and an IPO price more realistically set in the range, say £1.20 - £1.50. A price in this range would encourage more trading in the share, which I think is what is good for continued survival in the market, along of course with continuing dividends.

Sadly, if Michelle Dewberry and the Badger are the precedent, all they did with them was change the name, all the rest (pic, six-letter ident, profile etc) is as per start of Apprentice 2006.

Michelle D is about to get the push along with Grace and the rest of the joblot de-listing; the majority is not a long way off Sezer-like proportions.

I see from the new 'Daq Diary that the Cannes Film Festival starts next week. Didn't Aisleyne say something about going to Cannes shortly, and I think we wondered if this was the reason? If so, let's hope Ash is feeling fit enough to go. A little Mediterranean atmosphere might be just the ticket to speed up her recovery.

I note in the new 'Daq Diary the following eventa week today:

Thursday 10 May 2007
ROK!ing All Over The World party
Old Billingsgate, London
Celebs are expected at the gossip magazine's superbly named 11th birthday bash. Wonder if Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas will attend?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/celebdaq/daq_diary/

As I doubt they will, I wonder if Ash will be fit enough to go

She obviously was!
