Subject: Lisa admitted to hospital!
Body: Hi guys Lisa has asked me to update you all on her current circumstance. Having spent the last 5-6 weeks moving home, attending and completing her sponsored 10k run and participating in a 2 day conference for Brain Tumour UK. Lisa collapsed on Tuesday Night. We are unsure of the course as yet and are awaiting an MRI scan first thing tomorrow. Lisa felt completely paralised waist down but has since regained movement and is walking again. We hope that she will be home again before the end of the week.

Aisleyne's said that Lisa is in hospital. She's hoping to visit her, if she can.

This is very unfortunate news, but I'm glad Lisa completed the run and the conference before this happened.

Get well soon Lisa.

Subject: Home at last!
Body: Hi Guys,

Thank you all so much for your kind emails and comments! I am now back! To put you all in the picture I went to another concert on Tuesday in Upper Street and had a turn. When I say turn I mean got disorientated and then lost complete control of my legs. I have these from time to time however not as bad as this. I was completely paralysed waist down and only began walking again today. Although I am back on my feet it’s going to be some time before I’m back to my usual cheery self. I will have to attend physio once again and fight to walk stabilised.

I had an MRI Scan today which showed that the tumour had in fact grown. Obviously this has scared the living daylights out of my but you know me! I’m a fighter and won’t let this defeat me.

Thank you all once again for your support and to who ever sent the flowers THANK YOU!

I’m now on facebook (Lisa Connell) and would love it if you could all add me there entering how you know me as (Supporter of Brain Tumour UK via Myspace & Facebook) I’m going to be spending much of my time now at home helping to increase the awareness around the UK.

Lisa XxX
