"We are the Squeaky Girls
"We are the Squeaky Girls

"You are the cheeky boys"

One of these girls could win BB8.

And even if not they could well turn out as longer-term winners, a bit like (and ONLY A BIT like) our Ash.

I really like Sam, but am not so fussed about Amanda.

Am I weird?

It's just that Sam seems to have her head screwed on, whereas Amanda has her's in the clouds.

Also their shared genotype has given Sam a conventionally pretty face, wheras Amanda's looks a little other worldly.

Sam's from Venus, but Amanda's from Mars, eh?

I always thought that there were only two types of twins, monozygotic (genetically identical) and fraternal (genetically just siblings), but I read recently that some twins are somehow "semi-identical" where the original cells had an extra set of chromosomes which split to form twins which weren't exact clones. Maybe Sam and Amanda are this type, as they seem more alike than sisters, but do seem to have some marked differences in appearance and personality.

That's a new one on me ofni?
Mind you it is nearly thirty years since I last picked up a genetics textbook.

But, right enough, they don't seem very identical, but we've never seem them both without make-up, and with their original hair colouring.

I've looked that up now, and it's so rare that it can almost certainly be discounted in the case of Sam and Amanda.

It happened when two sperm managed to simutaneously fertilise one egg, and that egg subsequently divided, resulting in Near-identical twins.
Fascinating, but not the case here, I'm sure.

There's one thing about them compared to our Ash which amuses me.

Remember how ghetto street-hardened Aisleyne HATED nominating, which really seemed to bring out her insecurities (sorry for reminding you, Ash), yet soft pink fluffy Samanda both just fire their nomination bullets without batting an eyelid.
Mind you, they ARE psychopathic, aren't they?

D'ya know, I don't think I've even looked.

It seems kind of wrong to fancy the twins, even though they are now the same age as Chanelle, who definitely has a very peachy bum.

It seems the latest betting has Amanda as third favourite to win, behind Brian and Liam.

Sam is only seventh, behind Carole.
I know she is the quieter one, but she should be higher than that. Perhaps she'll come into her own when there are fewer there.

Amanda seems to be growing up a bit in there, and coming out with more sensible stuff.
And she's getting a dab hand at reading out the shopping list.

"Can we have the thin slice ham.....but not the one with pigs in it please."

Sam was a revelation in the talent show task.
As the 'Good' judge she had alot of lines to remember, and delivered them to perfection.

I might have to promote her to my favourite hm after Chanelle's nonsense today.

If only the twins would stop their incessant frolicking with Liam.

It looks like the twins are now to be counted as one housemate
http://www.channel4.com/bigbrother/news/newsstory.jsp?id=18741
...and are also up for eviction.

Overall, this should give them a better chance of winning as it avoids splitting their positive vote in the final. Together, they might be a challenge to Brian, which no one else is atm.

I doubt they'll be evicted this week, especially as an ex-HWH-mate is likely to be up with them.

I'd be very happy with a twin-win myself.

BB changing the rules again to suit themselves. Counting the twins as one means one less nomination for Carole. Call me a cycnic but the timing is very suspect. Just as public opinion seems to be swinging against carole they come up with this. Just take a look at the nominations history http://www.channel4.com/bigbrother/nominations/history.html and you will see why BB have done this.

I don't think Carole would have been up anyway. My guess had Carole and Jonty on four votes and Amy and Tracey on five.

I think now it will be the twins, Amy, Jonty and Tracey. My vote would be for Tracey to go.

I don't think it's a good idea because they are very different personalities, and I like Sam more than Amanda.

I know what you mean. I like Amanda more than Sam but I think a lot of people can't tell them apart so it's perhaps not that fair to treat them separately because they'll end up with half the votes that a normal housemate would as their supporters can't decide which one to vote for.

I think it's a bit unfair of BB forcing them to be up for eviction without being nominated, though. Of course they're BB are pretty confident that they won't go but if, by some fluke, they're evicted it will be a real travesty
