The official Channel 4 Press Pack doesn't mention when it will end although one report said 13 weeks 2 days (93 days) which would make Friday Aug 31st the evening of the final.
BB7 finished on the Friday 18th August, last year but started earlier.

BB8 is going to be very different this year if the house photos have got anything to do with it. I am still not pleased about what happened on CBB or BB7 and to top that they are going to have to think of some good dirty tricks to keep us all watching. I think probably then they will sink as low as they can get..the only way to get peoples attention these days.

I used to love it and for the reasons you give I now love to hate it. I hope it's good for the diehard BB fans. Time for me to reclaim my Summers.
