Location: Edgware, Middlesex | Grace has a BB column in Star magazine. It's actually pretty good. She's not a fan of the twins or Chanelle. She thinks Shabnam is vain and Charley is a bitch who boasts too much. She doesn't think Tracey is making enough effort. She's met Ziggy at Chinawhite and reckons he's always on the pull.
She likes Nicky and Lesley and reckons she would have got on with Emily.
Carole and Laura are her favourites.
She loves the idea of 11 girls in one house and reckons it will be bitchier than last year (I haven't seen much sign of bitchiness at all, to be honest).
She hates all the vanity and 'strutting around in bikinis'. This I cannot agree with. You can never have too much bikini-strutting

| Grace's likes and dislikes seem very close to the way Aisleyne is dividing them up in Reveal mag and her blog. It's going to be interesting to see how their two columns compare over the next few weeks. Ash's daily blog gives her a real edge in being up-to-date though. Funny also how Ash, Nikki and Grace all knew ZiggyZak. Small world, eh? |

Bear in mind that the articles in the magazines are a few day's old by the time they see print. Aisleyne's magazine column in Reveal is also negative about Chanelle but she changed her mind after learning about her background.
What I don't understand is why everyone is so down on the twins. I can understand why unbounded enthusiasm might be a bit tiring but it's not that bad of a character trait. They're not mean or selfish or arrogant. They're not rude or disrespectful or self-centered or bitchy. What's so awful about being happy?

So far as Grace's column and Ash's are concerned, I think your "few days old" may be the reason. They were both going on first impressions.
Then it may depend on how much live BB they watch. The highlights aren't giving viewers a good idea of what the twins are really like. They're responsible for a lot of the fun in the house, they have conversations with many different housemates, and so on, but highlights-only viewers won't know that. |
