hey wats up.. theres an eclipse happening here..it has nearly covered the moon.. is it happening where youse are?? it should be covered in half an hour.. last time there was one was when i was about 9.. and it was in the afternoon and i was on my little bike lol!!! and the sun was out so i couldnt look at it lol

Yep, it's 3/4 gone now . I'd forgotten all about it til my housemate pointed it out just now.

Do you mean the solar eclipse in '99?

Thanks for the heads up Soph. I've just gone to have a look out the window, and there's only a slice of Moon visible.

A Lunar eclipse is much more common than a Solar eclipse but it's still a nice sight.

All gone now!
Yeah, scary things solar eclipses. Mind you I was in Cornwall in 1999 and you could barely see the thing at all through the cloud, never mind screw your eyes up.

I did,nt realise there was an eclipse. I was working but I thought that the entire mood of Saturday was terrible.....I dont know if anybody else noticed that..but people seemed to be grumpy and negative...and I would quite happily have told them to 'swivel' even at my own show yesterday...
