The worthy citizens of Dundee clearly have to think of things to occupy their long Northern winter nights.

Well, something must account for a slightly odd series of letters in the Dundee Evening Telegraph and Post (published by DC Thomson - the home of the Beano and Dandy and the People's Friend of course).

Apparently someone noticed that the names of lots of places in and around Dundee reminded them of various celebrites, and several other correspondents have responded with their own suggestions.

Are you with me so far? Good.

It seems that there is a village near Dundee called Longforgan, which put correspondent Donald Sinderins in mind of ... well the thread title is a bit of a spoiler I suppose , but here's the link anyway for you to check out ALL the manifestations of this rather curious parlour game.

And perhaps inspire you to think up some of your own.
