Aisleyne will be attending the launch party for Charlie Brooker's new book "The Hell of It All", which takes place next Wednesday 18th November 2009.

Ash may be a little late in arriving due to her daytime appointments, and she will also be on the water wagon and leaving quite early, because of a commitment next day.

Regular students of this forum will be aware of a recent thread about this new book, and its mentions (by name or implication) of Aisleyne. For convenience I have deleted that thread and reproduce its content here, so we just have the one thread. As I said:

No doubt all you Charlie Brooker fans are well aware that he has a new book out. It's another anthology of his Guardian columns and articles.

And, unsurprisingly, Aisleyne makes an appearance or two

Which starts on page 237 - and gives rise to the following items in the index:

"Aisleyne, see Horgan-Wallace, Aisleyne" and

Also noteworthy:

The Amazon "extract" includes his article about a visit to a London nightclub with "a glamorous friend of his" who was "doing a PA".

I hear that despite Ash's fairly early departure, she had plenty of time to chat about last year's US roadtrip, and she caught up with Grace Dent as well.
