You can Listen Again to the breakfast show by clicking Listen Live and then Listen Again from the player window. They have both May 1 and May 2 shows available :-)

I've been off the Internet whilst my son's been finishing his dissertation. I've just read about the Choice FM gigs.

Serves me right I suppose.

Aisleyne came online via her mobile yesterday morning and posted a blog entry and report in this thread. Unfortunately seems like the post didn't work via her mobile - she's gutted.

Aw, what a shame.

Don't tell Martin Jay, but it sounds like she'll have to make another call to her "service provider"

By the tone of this thread, I thought the Monday show was cancelled. Any news on whether it will go ahead?

What makes you think it's cancelled?  Aisleyne will be on air at 6am as planned.

I just read ofni's post and I remember your precautionary step: "last day subject to whether Stoke get promoted" (or something similar).

I sent a text to Aisleyne during the Friday show suggesting if she didn't have broadband at home yet she might want to try using a mobile to use the website. I haven't listened to the show yet so I don't know if she mentioned the text but, unless it was a coincidence, it looks like she read it

I'm sorry to hear it didn't work, though

I've posted to the site on my mobile before and I often use the mobile to browse the site when I'm at work (the office internet policy doesn't allow message boards ).

Not sure I could type something as big as a blog, though. I don't text much so typing on a mobile is just too fiddly for me to write more than a line or two

Regards

Julian

I think it depends on the software on your mobile when it comes to browsing and posting via mobile. The site has various Java scripts running and some browsers handle it better than others.

With tomorrow being a bank holiday there is a chance the office phoneline will not be manned.  If you want to get a message to Aisleyne it would be best to send a text. The texts go straight through to the studio and are displayed on a screen in front of the DJs.

Text:

61236 for Choice FM DJ's
(Text cost £0.25 plus standard network operator charge)

Yeah, my phone (Nokia N95) doesn't display the left hand menu at all but everything else seems to work fine.

Thanks to Ash for giving it a try

It's going well so far. Apparently the text messages are coming in so fast they can't cope.

Thanks for the pics. Looks like Ash is enjoying herself, despite the unearthly hour!

Wonder if this gig leads to other opportunities for her at Choice eg being the default stand-in for Lucy etc, or maybe her own agony-aunt type show - at a more suitable time of course!

Ash with a regular spot on Choice would be great. Would she be able to make such a commitment with her business occupying so much of her time.

Ash just mentioned that she's busy with her book and her dress range. She also mentioned a coming trip to LA for a bit of work and catching up with old friends.

It's great hearing Ash on Choice Fm, she has become a regular. They should give her, her own show for good.

Congratulations to Ash for a great 3-day stint with Choice. Came across once again as very chatty and natural on-air. Someone sign her up for a weekly show!
