Big Brother 2006 housemate Imogen Thomas has advised this year's contestants to milk the experience for all it's worth.

The brunette says people applying for Big Brother 2007 shouldn't expect their lives to change after being on the show - but said they should get what they can out of it.

"If you go on a reality show you don't come out thinking 'I'll be the next Davina McCall', you know, it doesn't happen like that," the former Miss Wales said.

The 23-year-old said she always intended to make as much from the experience as possible.

"I just thought 'I'm going to milk it when I can and get on with things', and that's exactly what I've done," she said.

Imogen has used her appearance on Big Brother to help her modelling career and has a television show on Welsh TV with fellow housemate Glyn Wise.

She added: "Don't go in there thinking your life is going to be absolutely amazing when you come out and you're going to be the next big thing.

"Because it's a reality show at the end of the day."

Thanks! That's some good advice from Imogen there. She had some experiencing of "milking it" during that BB7 task she had to sabotage.

I wonder what advice Aisleyne would give?

Sensible, realistic and possibly face-saving. If Imogen does disappear, she can say she expected it and is happy with it. Nikki described herself as an A list celebrity. Now when she disappears I will

Imogen will likely keep a good status in Wales even if she fades into the background overall..so it will be a job well in her case.
