If you follow @Aisleyne1 on Twitter you may well have seen some recent tweets from a clearly distressed Aisleyne.

The following tweet by @AisleyneLtd gives a very brief explanation:

@AisleyneLtd For those confused by @aisleyne1 's recent tweets - they were sent from outside Amy's house on realising she had just lost her friend.

A short, sad, but calmer tweet from Aisleyne.

It's a pity about Amy. It's understandable that Ash would be upset.

Oh dear. Some distressing pictures of Aisleyne outside Amy's in the Daily Mail online story.

And Sky News review of the Sunday papers just showed a double page spread of the Mail on Sunday's coverage of Amy's death including another pic of a very upset Aisleyne outside Amy's house.

My thoughts are with Ash tonight and Amy's family and friends. I bought her album Back to Black - probably the best British album of the last decade.

RIP

I understand that Aisleyne has spent all day grieving with Amy's family and friends.

She has declined all requests to appear on TV programmes today, nor has she given any interviews.

Aisleyne's tribute to Amy is included in the latest Daily Mail report.

It also seems that Amy was alone in her house, apart from her bodyguard, when she died.

I'm distinctly unimpressed with the articles's attempting to pass off Aisleyne's statement as something she "told the Mail" when we know that Aisleyne has refused all interviews so far.

A rather lovely tweet from Eddi Reader (who was lead singer with Fairground Attraction back in the day) to Ash:

That's nice of her.

I've got 3 or 4 Eddi Reader albums in my collection. Great singer.

I was browsing in a bookshop and spotted that Aisleyne appears in a commemorative-type book about Amy Winehouse entitled "Remembering Amy" by someone by the name of Becky Bowden. It's a compilation of words and pictures about Amy's life, music, friends etc.

There's a full page pic of Aisleyne on p77 and a page or so about her reaction on the day of Amy's death plus her appearance on This Morning. Nothing new, it's basically a straight cut-and-paste from media reports at the time.

Here's the Amazon link (though I saw it at a reduced price in one of those discount bookshops (ie The Works):
