Aisleyne has flown to USA for several weeks with Charlie Brooker, combining work with a break.

Most of the details must remain under wraps at this stage, though a few snippets may be posted over the next few weeks.

For now, we can say that the trip starts on the West Coast, where Aisleyne is planning to meet up with friends, before heading east by car.

Aisleyne will additionally be recording a video diary of her time in USA for a TV broadcaster, normally referred to by the three initials of it's name.

Well isn't Charlie the lucky boy, eh?

Goodness me, the writer and producer of e4's flagship autumn programme flies off stateside with one of its stars/wardrobe suppliers just before it's due to air. The scandal!

Have a great time, Aisleyne!

Looking forward to the "snippets".

The video diary that Aisleyne is keeping in the USA is for the same broadcaster and linked to the video material that she filmed at Bestival.

Aisleyne is having a great time in the USA. Due to the nature of her visit there, we'll only be providing selective and delayed feedback on where Aisleyne has been and what she's done. That'll also leave her plenty to tell you all when she returns.

For now,  just to let you know that Aisleyne has spent some time in San Francisco, where she took the opportunity to do some sightseeing - taking the boat to Alcatraz, visiting the Golden Gate Bridge, etc.

Makes it sound like she's working for MI6...

Glad she's enjoying herself! I would recommend a visit to Niagra Falls if she can get there.

Glad Aisleyne is enjoying herself, but chuckle chuckle the way the info is withheld and then delivered sounds like she's on a mission for a secret service. (lol) What's the secret must be something cryptic (She didn't just get married as well did she) Whatever she is up to hope for her it is something substantial that will help her boost profile in a positive way.

Have to say when I saw "Las Vegas" I did have a vision of "Chaisleyne" tying the knot in that little chapel, with Elvis officiating.

Mind you, during BB7 could any of us (Charlie and Ash included) have envisaged this trip happening at all when Chas famously described Aisleyne as "The Argos version of Marilyn Monroe" on Screenwipe.

That's it! They're in the Nevada desert filming a remake of "Bus Stop" ....

Remember Charlie Brooker wrote something that upset a few (right wing) Americans a few years back and there was a suggestion made that the CIA wanted to interview him. Subsequently all his trips to the USA must involve tight security and an accompanying information blackout. Thank you for your co-operation in this matter.

P.S. Some of the above may not be true

Excellent words and pictures, prem!

Wonder what's on the non-published pics?

Trust Aisleyne (and her thong ) to get them all free drinks! I can just imagine Charlie muttering under his breath recalling his Screenwipe comment about "the mobile buttock exhibition" .

Hey ya'll!
I'm Viva la Blogtard, me and my friend met Ash and Charlie in Vegas last week.
We had no clue who she was until we Goggled her the next day.
She was completely sweet and accomodating to us drunk vacationing Americans!
Charlie was a great sport and moderated the situation as a perfect gentleman!
I saved her number in my cellphone in case we come visit across the pond one day!
:o)

Hi Steph!

Welcome to Aisleyne's website and this forum.

And thanks so much for your fascinating blog, and especially those awesome pics!!

How lucky are you!! Fancy getting to meet Aisleyne - and Charlie too!

It must have been quite an eye-opener when you started googling and found out just who they were.

Anyhoo, thanks again for letting us in on at least a bit of what Chaisleyne have been up to recently.

Oh, BTW, next time you see Perez Hilton, please poke him in the eye and put him straight about our Ash - he once blogged some very unpleasant words about her , so you tell him, eh? Thanks!

Thanks for posting, and thanks again for your blog. Toodle pip!!

I can understand if Aisleyne left her heart in San Francisco, but "I left my feet in Houston Texas" doesn't quite have the same ring, does it?

Charlie's latest column, in which he muses on world financial meltdown, and describes his "outrageous suite" in Las Vegas - esp. its "shower in the lounge with a lapdancing pole in the middle of it" . He mentions that he will be writing about his road trip for the Guardian Travel section. THAT should make interesting reading....

We feel so lucky that we got to hang out w/them, even if we didn't realize who they were at the time. We hope to be visiting Londontown in 2009 and hopefully have even more exciting times....Tallyho!

Hello Everyone!

I'm Viva la Blogtards friend, Heathen or Heather, whichever. I'm the friend that was w/her in Vegas. All I can say is that Aisleyne and Charlie are awesome. So genuine and accommodating. We feel so lucky that we got to hang out w/them, even if we didn't realize who they were at the time. We hope to be visiting Londontown in 2009 and hopefully have even more exciting times....Tallyho!

Hi Heather, thanks for the comments. Maybe if you are lucky when you visit Londontown Ais can take you to a place in North London called Tally Ho Corner. Nothing special about it, but I thought you would appreciate its name

Charlie Brooker's article about the road trip is in the Guardian's Travel section today, so I've started a thread about it in the "In the Press" part of the forum.

It seems that "Viva la Blogtard" was watching Helen Mirren in "The Queen" at the weekend, prompting a question for Aisleyne"
