On Thursday, Aisleyne will be involved with recording a programme for ITV1, which is scheduled for a Saturday evening prime time slot between 18:30-19:30. Whilst it has a full plot outline for the show, Aisleyne Limited will not be releasing any details of the programme until after next Thursday, for reasons that will become apparent at that time. The shoot is scheduled to begin at 8:00 and last for 10 hours.

How exciting! Exactly the kind of gig we've all been hoping for, I'm sure. Can't wait to hear more about it in due course.

Very intriguing, all of a sudden it's all happening. In a way I'm glad it didn't happen too soon. I'm thinking it might be some sort of game show....

To answer a couple of questions we've received about this, the programme is not being shot by an independent company for ITV1, it is a programme being made by ITV Productions. As indicated in the opening post, the format is a show, and Aisleyne will be in rehearsals Wednesday afternoon.

As already indicated, in line with studio requirements with programmes of this nature, we will not be releasing any other information regarding the programme until after it has been recorded, when we will post extracts from the detailed synopsis already provided by ITV Productions.

Aisleyne spent a very enjoyable, but tiring, time yesterday afternoon and all today until early evening. However the very tough confidentiality agreement which Aisleyne Limited, as a company, has now signed, means that neither director is permitted to discuss anything about what Aisleyne may have been doing during the past 36 hours. You'll just have to keep an eye on your mainstream programme guides in the New Year.

It would of course be nice to know more, but really it's just good to know that Aisleyne has got what seems to be a very good gig. That's what so many of us have wanted to see happen for her for well over a year now so as long we get to know in advance what we should watch, or will at least be able to make a good guess from the TV schedules.

Frank Drebin has spent New Year googling, and has drawn my attention to an interesting set of co-incidences.

1/ Some contributors to forums discussing Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe have compared it to Harry Hill's TV Burp, some favourably, some unfavourably, and others who are happy to be fans of both.

2/ A new series of TV Burp begins on Saturday 12th January, apparently in its usual early primetime slot.

3/ This opening show was recorded on Thursday 20th December, viz:

http://harryhill.wordpress.com/2007/11/06/tickets-released-for-tv-b...

4/ Aisleyne was involved in rehearsing/recording her contribution to an ITV1 early primetime show on 19th/20th December.

I've told Drebin he should get out more, and that he's probably barking up the wrong tree. He merely shrugged and pointed out that it'd be a unique double for Ash to be on both Screenwipe AND TV Burp though, wouldn't it?

So which is the better show? Screenwipe or TV Burp? There's only one way to find out...... FIGHT!!!!!......

May I draw Lt. Drebin's attention to the following facts...

1. We've specifically said that it's a new primetime show, NOT a new series of an existing show.

2. Harry Hill's show lasts 30 mins, and we've also already said that this is a one hour programme.

3. TV Burp is made for ITV by an independent production company, Avalon Television. We've also already stated that this new show is a fully fledged, in-house ITV Production.

A NEW show, eh?

Well from the new season's ITV1 Saturday shows listed HERE:

http://www.thecustard.tv/comingup.html

that rules out "Dancing on Ice" and "Primeval" as well as TV Burp, leaving the new quiz show "Duel" . Is Aisleyne some kind of "Carol Vorderman" to Nick Hancock's "Des O'Connor" on that? It's a one hour show, but seemingly produced by Gallowgate, not ITV1 themselves. D'oh!

DOI now seems to be starting on Sunday 13th shunting out Emmerdale and Corrie, leaving a yawning gap at 6.30pm on Saturday 12th which seems to be causing some consternation on the DOI forum on Digital Spy.

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?p=20522206

This suggests that the "silence" about this programme extends well beyond Aisleyne's involvement.

ETA The Guardian confirms some of this but is no help regarding the Saturday 6.30pm slot.

The Sturday schdule for ITV1 from January 12th is:

6.00 pm You've Been Famed
6.30 pm Harry Hill's TV Burp
7.00 pm Primeval

When can we expect a clarification regarding what show Aisleyne is invoved with and when it will be shown?

Perhaps We've Been Framed

No on a serious note it can't be the first 2 I don't think it's the third one either as that's a drama.

Perhaps it's going to be aired later in the year.

Just tell me Ash will be the only x big brother housemate on this please, she needs an exclusive gig, being the top girl of BB7 she was never rewarded appropriately IMHO.

Aisleyne Ltd are contractually bound not to disclose any information whatsoever unless (1) written permission from a named individual at ITV plc is obtained or (2) the information is in the public domain, and then we can only comment on information publicly available. There will not be hints or clues to identify the programme until it appears in the schedules.

There is no direct link with BB in her appearance. Same as with the October Screenwipe - the viewers might be aware that Aisleyne had once been a BB contestant, but the character she played in that Screenwipe episode was non-BB related, and no other ex-hms were involved. Exactly same this time around.

Many big budget programmes are often filmed several months ahead - there's a lot of post production work involved before it airs, so don't expect to see anything in Saturday schedules immediately.

Excellent news Prem. (No sarcasm intended ) Aisleyne will be on ITV on her own in a non-BB capacity. That's worth waiting for.

Screenwipe has been fantastic for Ash but the ITV1 prime show is another step up the ladder. Thanks for clarifying that it's non-BB related and that no other X housemates will be appearing. It makes it all the more exclusive and worth the wait imho

If you're referring to something that happened outside the Surya Centre on the first day of filming, then that relates to Aisleyne's possible particiption in an advert (still unconfirmed). It had nothing to do with the ITV1 programme.

No more info will be given out other than it is a new entertainment show, with Ash in a non-BB capacity, primetime TV on a Saturday night. Aisleyne Ltd have signed a contract so they are not able to talk about it. We will be tipped of when the show appears on program schedules. You may find it useful to read previous posts on this thread.

Hi. First time poster (long time lurker).

Just wondered if this had anything to do the ITV2 show CelebAir?

The other BB7 female (who I shall not name on this site for fear of reprisals ) was originally one of the many rumoured names for the show...

... but I noticed the CelebAir site has an image of someone who looks very similar to Aisleyne (in hair length and physical appearance) with her face hidden behind a question mark.-

http://www.itv.com/Entertainment/reality/CelebAir/FAQs/default.html

The show is also made by the people who make Charlie Brookers Screenwipe so it's quite a coincidence.

Hi Tippytoes.  Aisleyne's business partner/agent has discussed the Celeb Air show with the program makers but it looks like it may clash with a long term commitment that Aisleyne already has.  The ITV series mentioned in this thread has not been aired yet.  It took 4 months to make and will be aired prime time.  Once schedule details have been finalised by ITV there will be more news on the site, in the meantime we are governed by an embargo.
