Tomorrow afternoon, Aisleyne will be filming Charlie Brooker's ScreenWipe: New Year Special in West London. Her actual role is embargoed, but should feature throughout the special and call upon her acting talents.

"Charlie Brooker goes on a razor sharp rant through TV's best and worst offerings of 2007, taking no prisoners as he bids farewell to the year with suitably irreverent commentary."

As Aisleyne is also filming her fly-on-the-wall programme tomorrow, that crew will accompany her to Screenwipe recording.

The programme will air throughout the festive period, commencing on BBC4, next Wednesday 19th Dec at 10:35pm...

From the BBC4 link posted above, it also looks like the Chav-leyne episode will be repeated again on December 29th...

Aisleyne seems to have perfected the art of recording TWO totally different TV programmes simultaneously. This is surely a rare skill, which in these days of budgetary constraint, must make her a very attractive prospect to hard-pressed TV producers.

Just a thought:

Given that Charlie B and (most probably) Aisleyne are now icons of ethical editing for all BBC staff, then there is a moral obligation on them, such that whatever is filmed by the fly-on-the-wall crew at the Screenwipe recording must be properly represented in the ultimate programme. So if Ash happens to have a diva-strop (as if! ) then, no argument, IT MUST BE SHOWN!

Aisleyne will be filming 12 segments for Screenwipe, one for each month of the year.  She will be dressed in suitable attire for the relevant month.  She has not eaten so far today so as to look her best in the summer months.

Filming for Screenwipe was very successful, Aisleyne had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed herself, as she always has when taping Charlie Brooker's programme.

Just now there was a trailer for this programme on BBC1.

Only heard some of it, and saw even less. Charlie was on it but I don't think Ash was.

Good plug though, just before MOTD2.

Great to see Ais on Screenwipe again, though I wish they'd found more of a use for her than just holding up placards. Still, mustn't grumble, here's hoping Charlie makes her a permanent member of the team for next series.

Although I've watched no BB since BB7 ended, I LOLd at Charlie's assessments of Celeb BB5 and BB8. The image of C4/E*****l taking a sh** in the public's kitchen could equally have applied to BB7

Aisleyne was great as Charlie Brooker's Calendar girl . It was also nice to see Grace Dent on Screenwipe, as she championed Aisleyne during BB7. It was like Aisleyne was amongst friends and I hope we see more of this in the new year.

That image summed up BB7 perfectly to me. At least Charlie never asked Aisleyne to do that. I'd loved to see her on Screenwipe all the time.

It's great Ash gets the opportunity to appear on these shows that are repeated over and over in such a short space of time. It is more exposure for her. It's great when you have friends in the business. There are so many different directions Ash could go in on TV. I definitely see the presenter in her, the comic and the chat show host...Who knows what the future holds?
