| Aisleyne's dress label 'Unique by Aisleyne' is being officially launched at Pure, the annual womenswear exhibition, being held at Olympia 10-12th Feb as part of Fashion Week. 'Unique by Aisleyne' will be exhibiting in the 'Impulse' area of Pure, the section for 'showcasing popular high fashion and casual wear for the latest trends'. Included will be a fashion show on the catwalk and a launch party.

| Oooh - 'citin' , innit?
I see Unique Boutique on the list of brands. Will "Unique by Aisleyne" be a particular "collection" under that overall brand heading, or a brand on its own?

| This is good news! Will Aisleyne be attending this exhibition in person, and is it trade only?

I assume she'll be attending, and it looks trade only to me...

| Really happy that you have something substantial to take you into the new year which is non-big brother related.
No doubt you will showcase/wear your dresses/tops etc before anyone else gets to be seen in them. Everyone's crazy about Lipsy at the moment, I can see why. The only problem with that is that people could quite easily turn up at the same venue with the same dress. I see your mobo red dress is very popular.
While others battle for prominence to be the face of Lipsy you just run ahead of them all love with your exclusive own label and years of fashion experience behind you. Also at least you've got a sound career in fashion and you've made you're mark in fashion, who knows what this will lead to. Hope you get offered your own fashion column, if you would like one of course. Your image is improving all the time you can see it in your galleries, how you've changed over the year (notice I said year and not minutes). The dress you wore at the OK bash was stunning. I think more people will come to respect you. Image shouldn't be everything but unfortunately in this day and age that is what people judge you by. Also people think they have the right to mock you if you don't suit their taste. Generally the comments about your clothing have been more positive of late, which is good publicity and people are forced to take you more seriously, which is good for your career in the longterm IMHO.
Happy Birthday.

Location: Stoke-on-Trent | Preperations were finished at Olympia by around 9pm, and now ready for the opening of Pure tomorrow, "Unique by Aisleyne" is located on the larger of the two Unique Group stands sited opposite each other on a main aisle. Both outer walls of the stand are completely taken up with large UbA logos, including a large silver foil butterfly - the largest of the two logos is over 4 metres wide. On the stand, a large plasma screen is playing a loop of Aisleyne's showreel and various new promotional clips for Aisleyne's upcoming TV show. Unfortunately some garments, including some trousers and jeans have not yet arrived by courier, and staff have had to make temporary swing tags for each sample as the actual ones, coming from Turkey, are stuck in Customs. However, neither of these minor hiccups really affects events or has detracted from Aisleyne's nervous excitment. There will be between 2-4 models on hand to show Aisleyne's dresses on a small catwalk on the stand, and Aisleyne is planning on changing several times each day, though she won't actually model any garments. The Red TV crew, under the direction of Aisleyne Ltd are due to be at the Show on the opening day. |

Location: Scottish Borders | Oh right! So Aisleyne is getting some general promotion for her career over and above the UbA stuff. It all sounds very impressive. I can imagine that Aisleyne is a bundle of nervous energy. The best of luck to all concerned, especially the girl herself. |

It sounds incredibly exciting, and so professional, wouldn't expect anything less though.
I am so happy that Ash has been given this opportunity this will surely open up more doors for her.
Can wait for the pictures video's and show.
All the best. |

| What’s with this "nervous energy/excitement" stuff guys? - you REALLY mean "Aisleyne has had umpteen diva strops today" don't you?
Well if she has, I say she's entitled to them!
I've been imagining what kind of job Aisleyne would have had at an event like this two years ago. I guess she would have been over the moon if she'd got to be one of the "2-4 models" on the catwalk of "Unique by ANOther" ; more likely maybe she would have been handing out carrier bags or inviting visitors to put their business cards into a prize draw, or some such trade exhibition ritual. She might perhaps have admired, envied and imagined being the lucky so-and-so whose name was emblazoned 4 metres long across the stand, sewn into every garment, and appeared on clips from her upcoming TV show.
And now Aisleyne, it IS you! Magic, eh?
Though I suppose it COULD be said you're still going to be working as a brand promotions girl.....but this time YOU are the brand
Hope everything exceeds all expectations! |

Location: Stoke-on-Trent | It was a busy and hectic Sunday at Pure. The stand was very busy and the first opportunity for Aisleyne to gauge the retailers' reaction to her range. Today most of the buyers were small retailers.
Aisleyne is aiming to have an early night in preparation for Monday. Tomorrow should see less buyers visiting the stand, however they will mostly be from multipes and larger retailers. The Red TV crew filmed today's activity for the 'Aisleyne' TV show.

| That top is just fabulous - very flattering shape and lovely fabric (though not many women could get away with that colour.) As a dressmaker, I know it would have been a bugger to get the drape right! Well done Ash - looking forward to seeing more of this.

| Heatworld cover the launch in the manner to which we have become accustomed.
I'd have been REALLY worried if they'd been positive about it.
(CAUTION: If you tend to take Heat magazine seriously and are of a sensitive disposition, don't click the link)

O here we go the world according to heat magazine, they can't quite seem to hack it that not every opinion revolves around their pea brain bias thick skull of a rag. They really can't help themselves, can they? Heat magazine GET IT LOUD AND CLEAR
AISLEYNE DOESN'T NEED YOU IN FACT SHES NEVER NEEDED YOU.
Ash is doing fine WITHOUT your support doing something that that will finally gain her respect, while you continue to make a living off taking the P**s out of people. (Who will you make your next groveling apology to save your skin- the mind boggles) Clearly you lot are the ones who are deluded and ridiculous IMHO. Any opinion that disagrees with yours has to be deluded and ridiculous does it??? How small minded of you, you need to get out more, you really do.
You do realise you have just plugged (help to spread the word about her clothes line) I reckon you've managed to put some business her way in a back handed kind of way.
How generous of you

| "Many's the night I've lain awake in bed, concerned about why Heat might hate Aisleyne so much." sez Available for Panto, contemplating Heatworld's treatment of the UbA press release.
Their comments are a bit sideways as usual, but the satire is actually quite sympathetic, and more or less witty.
I DID LOL at the PS suggesting the identity of the model with Aisleyne in the Olympia picture. No spoilers please - it deserves to be seen in context!

| A couple of, erm, interesting suggestions on the lowculture forum.

| Just before it leaves the magazine shelves for the pulping machine where it belongs, I suppose it should be recorded that this last week's Heat mag does in fact devote a full page of the Heatworld section to report the UbA launch in its customary anti-Aisleyne manner.
As you'd expect they gutlessly decline to show any of the UbA pics, lest their readers might get the chance to form their own opinions (as if! ) and use carefully selected pics from 2006 or early 2007.
It's a pity a certain type of garment is as yet not included in the UbA range, so that Aisleyne could invite them to "Heat my shorts! " |
