I've been checking the News of the World's BB8 blog every so often and today's entry is better than most. It compares the final weeks of various BB series and Aisleyne gets a brief mention...

They were comparing them in terms of the fact that both had a really hard time in the house in terms of worrying about public perception. I believe I made the same comparision in an earlier post

I still don't see the comparison - Ziggy had an easy time of it IMO, Aisleyne was treated appallingly!!

The comparision is not a question of degree.

Ziggy spent most of his time convinced that the outside world disliked him and suppressing his character because of it. Towards the end last year, Aisleyne was the same.

I can't think of any other housemate in BB7 or BB8 for which that description really fits

The final NOTW blog entry is an assessment of why BB8 wasn't such a hit with the public...

http://notw.typepad.com/bb8/2007/09/bb8-where-did-i.html

It forgets to add reason 13, because Aisleyne wasn't in it.

I agree with quite a lot of that actually. While I still managed to enjoy it this year it was, for the most part, in sptie of what the production team came up with rather than because of it.
