Ais said you expect these people to be safe in care homes..she said what is going on in society today. Talking bout a young girl wanting sterilisation and asking us whether we think she should have this at 22 years of age..
Stories from the Sun paper. Talking bout a boy of 10 getting Asbo , burglary at 10 smokes, drinks, loves dopes , a disturbing portrayal of 21 C Britain... Ais said she blames parents and would never dream to have acted like that. Child had asperger syndrome but mother handed child cigarettes. Ais is not impressed.
Ais said she blames parents ...said you dont give your kids cigarettes...( I love Ais attitude she sounds like me...lol)..said , the woman should control her child.
In the Sun, asked w hat we think about Jordan airing views about Kerry...Kerry has taken umbrage at Jordan talking about her but Jordan was trying to give advice to Kerry...Ais loves Jordan but dont agree with her talking in the press...said Kerry wont even call Jordan now by phone...

Lisa left her job some years back and went to Thailand and had the time of her life.
When she came back from Thailand was diagnosed with illness.
Ais saying she would want to open a company if she had any ideas...
Lisa obviously talking about opening company but nobody wants to take risk with her...probably due to her illness.
Starting course this September, said Lisa might be hairdressing. Ais says, hey you can do mine babe, go into doing weddings etc. make up etc. 755 pounds has been donated to myspace to Lisas cause for Brain Tumour....
Aisleyne says her myspace is not private as according to the newspapers nothing in her life is private these days ( sound on this programme is dreadful..cant hear it all to type )
Ais said her uncle diagnosed 10 years ago with brain tumour and there is not enough knowledge about all this so the cause is dear to her as well as the fact that she is supporting the cause for Lisa.
Onto lighter subject one of the listeners wants to know what is one of Ais worst habits...Lisa mentiones picking and flicking..(Nose)
St Patricks day mentioned is on Saturday.
Aisleynes worst habit...Lisa said does not think Ais has any, Ais said what about giving her number to random guys.

Next week theres gonna be a telephone conversation and ring someone up to wind up..Ais said her voice is distinctive and it might be difficult to do as she will get recognised....shes talking about people ringing up from banks, and all these sales company ...she said these people phone her up and try to get to know her on a personal level when they realise who she is...cheeky swines eh... and she is basically telling them now to back off.
Ais gonna fit in two more tunes...

She has done very well this show. She has left good gaps for the music, not interrupted and encouraged people to talk about topics. There have not been many phone calls though...not that much from the chat room either, but lots of shout outs to those in the chatroom and letting people know who is in there which is great. A lot of our forumers ...recognised.
Some of the music a bit...well not up my street, but good presentation...says love it love it love it...tooo much, but I reackon it will be her catchphrase soon if she is not careful.
Mentioning all those contributing in the chat room and phone calls...shes not talking loud enough...
Thanking simon and lisa.....having a good old gossip in gossip corner she says.

Love it says Ais, its past my show time, something about dinner at Lisas house, wheres the next DJ..next DJ has not turned up...its sophie on the phone, saying she is nervous...Ais said nothing to be nevous about..Sophie says hows your week been...Ais said she got flowers...Ais said remember her bag got taken, flowers from the person who took the bag...sophie asked about Ais plans for the future...Ais just saying she wants to be good person, make lots of money etc...
Asks Sophie what she thinks about the 10 year old boy who has the asbo...Ais helping Sophie with her answer...Ais said she saw 5 year old in pram smoking a fag in Ireland once.... Ais is doing anti smoking chat..makes your breath smell, fills your lungs with tar, gives you bad skin, wrinkles ( go Ais..)...
Ais says say no if you dont wanna do something. Sophie mentioning Bengos and Becki in chat room.
Ais said, she is such a little sweetie...

| Many thanks maringo Zou Gou and Odm. I could only listen to a small part myself and then lurk intermittently so you really captured the atmosphere and content for me. Ash has certainly "got it" hasn't she? Just a matter of developing her style and polishing the technique, but she's so assured about it all - quite the natural! |

It was a good show. I just wish they'd sort the sound problem.
She was great with her callers, as usual. Puts them at ease.
Even if she doesn't get a lot of calls about the topics, she could comment on stories that catche her eye. She'll get better at it as she does it more.
To me, the music side is good because it's a mixture of songs I know and ones I don't, put together in ways that suggest connections I hadn't thought of, like the Nelly Furtado - Reggae one this week and the Chilli Peppers - hip hop a couple of weeks back.

Sophie gave PD the number of a lad she knows and PD did his police constable call (similar to the one on Imogen, if you heard that). PC/PD wanted to know where the lad was on a given date, in connection with a 'crime'. Eventually, the lad asked if he could put his mother on (OK) and PC/PD asked her where the son was on (...) evening. The mother said he was at (? rugby training ?) - PD started to lose his act and asked for the son again. His mother refused and (I think) PD hung up because it had got too difficult for him No need to acknowledge that response, zou gou, because it gives me an excuse to report that PD had a guest on his show Deemas J who seemed fairly reserved throughout his interview & other contributions. He asked PD if he could do a prank call after Sophie's and he did. He called 118 118 and embarked on a monologue using an Indian accent. He gave an account of his recent 'life history' leading to a request for the number of a local kebab shop. It was superbly free-flowing improvisation and I was gasping for air. Interjections of irrelevancies such as "my wife is so stupid" which got him nowhere nearer his 'objective' and just served to increase the cost of the premium call. [No-one got hurt.] But, and one should never start a sentence (let alone a paragraph) with 'but', the 118 118 call was redirected to the kebab shop and Deemas J went seamlessly into an angry/excitable Richard Prior type order for a kebab with fries: "Look, I've just arrived in this country and it's the first time I've had to order a kebab ...". Sorry, have to bail out myself now because I was far too busy (bent double) to be taking notes. I was just amused that Deemas seemed so much more confident being someone else than himself. It was evident to me that he'd done that kind of thing before. Prince D gave credit to his long-time buddy. For me, he stole the show. It would have been great if it had been recorded but I think that's unlikely If he pops up again, anywhere, ... worth paying attention.
