Ash got noticed.
Job done.

| I have to say the refreshers reference made me chuckle. Perhaps I am showing my age refresher sweets remember the packaging anyone. Anyway I know it was all for effect, and it got her in the Sky.com gallery even though as she would admit it herself she can't sing a note, and it was the Brit Awards afterall.

Location: Stoke-on-Trent | They have a gallery for the worst dressed at the BRITS and Aisleyne is not in it. They chose to use the picture in a different gallery. Take a look at the rest of the gallery that Aisleyne's picture is in, she is in a gallery full of people from the music industry. She obviously got noticed and I for one like the dress. |

I noticed that too. Even Myleene Klass's dress got a knock in a gallery on the Sun website and I thought she looked quite nice in it. It's good to see Aisleyne get noticed without having to resort to shock tactics. |

| I think the dress is perfectly suited to Aisleyne. Its a fashion statement, shes young and beautiful and she can wear anything...Sometimes the way a photographer takes a picture can affect how things really look..It might be a second thing where the dress has billowed out slightly. Regardless, she looks great and blends in with young celebrities these days.

So you're not a fan of the dress then? I have to say that it's certainly colourful.
I have long since trained myself not to have opinions on what laydeez wear. I say "I like it" to anything my OH asks about if it's going to get me out of the shop or the house sooner.
So I prefer to focus on the business aspects and outcomes of these events, and I've got this one down as a success. Even more so if it makes it into the mags, and especially if whoever the designer is has Aisleyne modelling it on their website.
As with the wiser heads in the Corleone family, remember - "It's business"
Aisleyne ALWAYS looks good anyway, whatever she's wearing - or not. |

Well we all know the 'ignoramous idiots on DS' aka the DS Ais Haterz are a bunch of bitter old c-words who wouldn't know risk taking or fashion if it bit them on their Daily Mail reading arses. Don't take those idiots personally. I like to laugh at them myself.
I don't like the dress but I think it's good that Ais is willing to take risks fashion-wise. At least she's not boring! |

I wasnt picking holes at it, its just not my favourite, but I do think people sometimes get worked up a bit too much about these sort of things. I dont particularly like it but I'm sure there are plenty of things I wear that she wouldnt like. It makes no difference to the way I feel about her though and thats the important thing. |

| Given the hundreds of pictures of all the big names at this event now clogging up the agency sites, I am even more impressed that Aisleyne managed to get herself featured in that particular Sky gallery. If she'd worn something less striking or controversial I doubt if she'd have got a look-in. Wonder who WAS the designer? |

If that's her tongue she's showing us, it does look a bit pale. |

| Thanks empty. I see that a thumbnail detail of this picture (which is a BIGP one) is used on the celebrity homepage as the link to this gallery, and the "bad dressers" link directly below is a rerun of the 2006 worst dressed gallery - No1 place = youknowwho!
I love the caption "Yes, it's her! Big Brother's Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace did her usual bit to steal the (after)show..."
What a gal!

Thanks! She's number two in the gallery as well, right after Lily Allen!
However, the next picture in the gallery does say this...
"...but fortunately Corinne Bailey Rae turned up to bring a bit of class to the proceedings. Phew!"
Anyway, as emptybox pointed out, she's got her tongue out again in this picture (just like the one in the Daily Star). It does look slightly pale. |

| My first shot at Photobucket, so anything might happen (if it works it's thanks to Odm on the Technical thread in Chill Out - if not it's my inability to follow clear instruction!)
I saw this in last Thursday's Independent. The whole article was about High St imitation of Designer fashion with a lot of examples, including THIS:
Bottom pic look sort of familiar? Not the same as Ash's dress I know, (especially the length!!), but I just thought it was interesting.

Thanks, that definitely looks similar to the dress Aisleyne wore to the Brits after-party. And she wore it over two months before this piece in the Independent, so she's certainly keeping ahead of the latest fashion trends! |
