As you will know, Aisleyne is a proud Patron of Brain Tumour UK, a charity which has a special meaning for her as a close relative is a sufferer. So she is pleased to be able to play an active part in organising this special evening.

A Celebrity Burlesque Extravaganza in aid of Brian Tumour UK is planned for 23 November 2011. The evening in Coram Fields, London is being organised by a committee of the Charity's celebrity patrons - Aisleyne, Andrea McLean, Lizzie Cundy and Phil Tufnell, supported by BTUK's staff and others.

Coram’s Fields playground occupies the site of the original Foundling Children’s Hospital established by Captain Thomas Coram in 1739. It is close to Great Ormond Street Hospital, with whom Brain Tumour UK has close links through its research team. For a brief period at the end of this year The Bloomsbury Big Top complex will be erected in the Playground to create an iconic venue.

On 23 November The Big Top complex will be transformed into a Circus and Burlesque Extravaganza. Up to 700 guests will arrive through the main gates, greeted by circus acts and walk the short distance to the reception tent for a champagne reception, hosted by the celebrity patrons organising committee. A sumptuous 3 course meal will be interspersed with acrobatic performances. Following dinner, the Patrons will introduce a special Burlesque show and auction to raise funds for children with brain tumours.

Wowsers! What an absolutely marvellous thing to be involved in!

Congratulations to Aisleyne on being asked to help organise.

I hope it's a rip-roaring success and raises oodles of funds for a terrific cause!

Unfortunately, for family reasons, Aisleyne will not be able to attend tomorrow night's Big Top Extravaganza.

She has of course been involved over the last few months in organising the event.

And she will also be making a contribution in absentia. When she came runner-up in Celebrity Salon 2 she won a luxury weekend for 2 at the Gibson Hotel, Dublin, which she is donating to the evening's celebrity auction fundraiser.
