This coming Tuesday 24 March, Aisleyne will co-host the launch of a new morning radio show on SMUC Radio - St Mary's University College in Surrey . The station broadcasts to a campus of around 11,000 plus around another 2,000 on Internet. New Breakfast show is on from 8:30 - noon, and Aisleyne will be in the studio from around 9:30 - 11:00 (timed so she can fulfil another commitment later that day). The plan is that Aisleyne will also be in studio again on Friday, to end show's first week on air (same times as Tuesday).

She'll talk about BB, her clothing range, her book (in general terms only, not actual content of course), future plans, etc.

Interesting .............Will this be a regular gig or is it just a short stint?

Ash comes across well on the radio, she makes a natural presenter.

Eamonn McCrystal her co-host is the one who features on her showcase video. They work very well together.

I see there is a Replay facility that says "Coming Soon".

Hopefully it will have arrived by Tuesday?

It's interesting that she's teaming up with Eamonn McCrystal again.

Aisleyne is making just the two appearances for part of the shows tomorrow and Friday. She was asked by Eamon McCrystal to help launch the new breakfast show.

No further appearances are planned.

Eamonn has an 'exclusive' about last night, so he claims:

Aisleyne was at "an opening in Ilford" -ooh err. Went in a taxi. Ash says it was a "favour" to a friend. Nikki Grahame and Patsy Palmer were there. Patsy is very attractive, says Ash. The "bloke who was in the jungle", and a "blonde bird" and "some singer" were also there.
Her friend Tom Crane was DJ-ing, he's "going with" Sarah Harding. He blew the speakers - on the first night. He made an exit to Mahiki, followed by Ash in same taxi that brought her. She was there for 2 hours-ish. Then on to Knightsbridge. All in the same taxi. How to get home? Ash's friends transported back into London. Ash back home to Surrey, all in same taxi. She's dreading the call from the PR company who booked the taxi.

Ash has a great voice for radio she comes across as a natural not false. She should get a regular gig once a week/month on a radio station to fit around other commitments, or longer if she has more spare time. It would be nice is Ash had a regular job like Radio Personality/DJ it would help to enhance her profile.

no, I was just interested. Besides when Aisleyne actually sang Lavender Blue but thought it was a nursery rhyme I felt really old. Obviously she was song it as a child. For me, a chart hit, for Aisleyne a song for falling asleep.

I agree and it was great to hear the Holder of Key 408 on the radio again. I've always said she works well in a double act as the conversation goes, even if occassionally she dosnt get someones sarcastic comment about Mandonna and Gary Glitter..

At one stage I thought she was going to call the police in. Love it when she finally realised and said she loved sarcasism and Eamonn said something like "when you finally get it". Great timing by him there

I think Eamonn was most probably getting sick of all my emails in the end, especially as its student radio. BTW hope you listened to the Marillion links I sent. Surely that would have jogged your memory. You were right about Lavender Blue and it was obviously sung to you as a lullaby.... thanks for making me feel even older.

So when are you next on the radio?

The chorus of Marillion's 'Lavender' does come from an old nursery rhyme Bradley.
Derek Dick didnae write it.

I didn't hear the show unfortunately, I'm just picking over the bones of what you're saying on here.
