Tomorrow, Aisleyne will be filming the pilot for what should hopefully be a fly-on-the-wall reality documentary series. The series would involve following Aisleyne for 24 hours every 2-3 weeks over a 6, 12, or 18 month period, depending if and for how long the full series is commissioned. Tomorrow's filming will probably air in December. The initial working title for the series is 'Celebrity: A Star at Work', though that could well change after first day's filming.

So on Thursday, a two person crew will film Aisleyne from mid morning right through the various meetings, getting ready for evening, until she gets home after C4C party.

Edited to add:
Being broadcast on Red TV (Sky 186)

I won't argue with you there.

So we'll have to keep an eye out for the film crew in Thursday's pics.

It certainly starts to explain all the hush-hush meetings and mysterious "busy-ness" of the last weeks and months, dunnit?

Gotta love this idea for a pilot!

Let's hope it gets to be a proper series.

Is it exclusively following Ash or are other celebs involved?

And tell the broadcasting company they only get to film a glamour shoot once the full series has been commissioned!

But this Thursday's prog SHOULD include Aisleyne logging on to her website, saying something like "I'll just logon to my website www.aisleyne.com, - I want to check if that genius ofni has done another of his brilliant posts recently"

Duh. We've known that since early June 2006, haven't we, peeps?

Yes I know she came out of the box at the end of May, but, be honest, it did take a day or two for it to sink in that this "blonde bimbo promotions girl" was actually something a bit special.

Outline details now agreed, with Aisleyne Limited much more involved in filming of the second episode. Shooting will take place on the day of the OK! Party (Dec 13th), and will be directly supervised on this occasion by Aisleyne Limited directors.

Aisleyne will spend the day watching and describing the preparations, interviewing those involved, and generally ensuring that everything is ready. Aisleyne Limited will also control the action and direct the crew, who will also follow Aisleyne in her own preparations, including discussions with any others who may be wearing her "Unique by Aisleyne" dresses at the party. The full crew will then be at the party, where Aisleyne will interview some of the celeb guests.

Crikey!

That sounds bold, and I mean bold italic!

50ft up and no safety net by the sound of it. I'm impressed!

As it's the OK! party the mag will doubtless feature the do, but will they also  be featuring this TV aspect and Aisleyne's particular role?

First we hear she's going to be followed by a TV crew, now she actually going to be directing and interviewing.
I'm sure she'll pull it off with flying colours.

As it's the OK! party the mag will doubtless feature the do, but will they also be featuring this TV aspect and Aisleyne's particular role?

I guess you'll just have to check out that issue of OK!, OK?

The initial working title for the series is 'Celebrity: A Star at Work', though that could well change after first day's filming.

In the light of the title of the OTHER programme fimed that night PLUS Aisleyne's ambassadorial status, perhaps the title of this prog should be "Breast Envoy"

If it's that Spanish TV crew again, who's going to explain to them who Richard Madeley is, and why his photograph has to be placed in Aisleyne's line of sight for every scene?

Hope it all goes well, anyway.

Aisleyne had her hair done at Adee Phelan's salon this morning and this was filmed by the fly-on-the-wall crew.

As you may recall, she attended the launch party for his Covent Garden salon recently...

The filming went well yesterday, apart for a slight hitch as TV crew's train from Birmingham base was delayed. First filmed was Aisleyne's treatment at Adee Phelan's new salon. Other filming included watching and interviewing preparations for the party, various segments in Aisleyne's flat and the party itself, where Aisleyne interviewed various guests including Mr Midas, and some of the folk from Unique.

I'd assumed for a while that it would be satellite channel, and I had resigned myself to the likelihood that I wouldn't be able to watch it at transmission time.

However, I'm just so pleased that Aisleyne has got this show, and puts her back where she belongs - on TV. It's a full hour too, which is quite impressive news. Whatever the audience size might be, it's surely an excellent showcase for her, and huge learning opportunity too. And we've come to know that Ash is a VERY apt learner indeed(eg her radio show).

Crumbs, with all of the repeats of this plus those Screenwipe showings, it's wall-to-wall Aisleyne on telly this Christmas, innit?

I'm also blacked out as I don't have Sky and Virgin don't carry it (my sister has Virgin and I would have asked her to record it, naturally), but its just good that Ash is on TV with a chance to shine. Hopefully it may get picked up by a bigger channel at a later date.

Yes, but, as Charlie B would say, in THIS programme Aisleyne is "the talent" who is providing "the content".

Speaking of content, it sounds like it's also going to provide some fascinating insights into Aisleyne's life these days - subject of course to how it may be edited....

(That Brooker bloke has a lot to answer, for if you ask me. What? Waddayamean, you DIDN'T ask me? )

A bit more info on the show...

1. The programme on this week is just the first day's filming, and should start with Glyn calling in on Aisleyne (if the sequence of events have been unaltered).

2. The second day's filming (which was much better) is still in the edit suite.

3. A deal has been agreed for a minimum of 12 month's worth of episodes, with an option to extend by a further 6 months. The target is to film an episode every 3 weeks.

A year of Aisleyne on the tellybox? Gotta be good

Apparently 'Red' only launched on December 17 which was errrr yesterday.

According to this forum posting, Thekla Roth (?) & Bianca Gascoigne are also to be featured in this series. They are also making a similar documentary about 'wannabes'.

I hope that Red TV’s launch as a lifestyle and entertainment channel is a massive success. If they procure 18 months of Aisleyne on Stars at work, I’m sure they won’t go far wrong.

Thanks! Thekla Roth will be the focus of the first episode in the series, to be broadcast at 9pm on Dec 20th. So it might be worth watching to prepare for the main event the following day...

Sky on screen guide for Red tv ch 186 for 21st at 21.00

EP2. Since Big Brother Aisleyne has rerely been out of the public eye
and the subject of much press attention, she always features in celeb articles and has climbed the ranks of prominence.

Looks like my DVD Recorder is going to be busy.

I've been wondering how they will work this programme through the year. While a full hour of Aisleyne every three weeks is TV Heaven for us Ashophiles, it seems to me that for a new channel looking to build a more general audience it would be better, once the first scene-setting episodes have aired, to "slice and dice" the footage to show some of each girl every week. That would also "spread the risk"so that if one of them has a particularly good day of activity (like Ash's second day) while another has a slowish day, they can edit accordingly and keep each programme fresh and varied. Might not suit us entirely, but might be better for Aisleyne's career.

I'm glad Ash is getting regular work, it is a great showcase and I am sure she will come off well. It should open the doors for even more TV work. Who knows where this will take her.....I haven't got Red TV but somehow I think we will all get to see it eventually. An hours long show is very generous indeed.....

The Daily Star give the show a litle write up in todays edition.

"BIG Brother babe Aisleyne Horgan Wallace stars in her own fly-on-the-wall show tomorrow night.

The 28-year-old DJ and Model, above, has been tracked by cameras over the past year.

She is one of several stars lined up for Celebrity: Stars at work starting at 9pm on Red TV (Skay 186)."

I watched 5 minutes to get a sampler (via the webcast thingy which seems to work OK). If Ash's first episode is like this, she'll be getting a lot of camera 'attention' and it will be almost like presenting, which could be quite good for her, although I think firmer direction is needed, to hold the interest of the uncommitted viewer.

The program was quite good, actually. It held my interest even though I didn't know Thekla at all. The camera work seemed a little amateurish, though

I noticed several clips of Aisleyne were playing on the little trailers they did between ad breaks

Red TV have been using Aisleyne to promote the series. It has now approached Aisleyne LTD with an offer to do a completely separate spin off show " Aisleyne" to make her shows distinct and separate to the current series. Aisleyne LTD are in discussions with Red TV as this would mean a much greater commitment to regular filming dates to ensure a full 12 part series can stand alone.

How interesting. It rather sounds as if the channel sees at least as much value in Aisleyne (H-W) as Aisleyne (Ltd) might see in the channel. I guess the only risk lies in her being locked in to this project if better opportunities present themselves. But it's got to be good for Ash's cv to have a TV show called "Aisleyne" on it, especially if it's seen as having been a cornerstone programme for a new channel. And such regular exposure must be both a great showcase and a fantastic learning opportunity.

The fact that it will also put Ash back on telly a lot, and provide endlessly fascinating insights into her life and activities is, of course, a VERY exciting prospect (even if I can't watch it )

I'm not surprised, as the opening episode of Celebrity: Stars at Work was rather static and relied too much on Thekla Roth showing you around her flat. Whereas, the filming of Aisleyne's episodes took place on days when she was really busy.

Is this the 'announcement' that has been hinted at for the past few days in the AL gossip thread?

This sounds good, but will she still be involved in this current series?

I mean, will she be on telly tonight as advertised, and when will the second episode, with the OK/C4C party, be screened?

She'll still be on tonight's episode and the subsequent repeats. However, I'm not sure when her second episode will be aired.

The second show will depend where both parties reach with talks when it's due to air. Aisleyne Ltd and Red TV have a meeting scheduled for the beginning of January to discuss an "Aisleyne" series. What will happen to the first one or two programmes already prepared will be decided at that time, if Aisleyne LTD agree to what's on the table.

Its totally random. They appear to have mixed up bits of two different programmes.

Aisleyne's excellent, but the same can't be said for the editing/production. The word 'shambles' springs to mind.

I think we saw part 1 and then part 3 followed by part of Thekla Roth’s episode. Then part 2 of Aisleyne’s episode which ended at Surya just as she met the sprouts guy.

Nice to see Aisleyne on TV again anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing more.

The bad

first Red TV need to sort out their tapes

No doubt this will be fixed

The good

I really enjoyed it, it was great seeing Ash back on the screen. This time there is no competition or pressure, it's just about her being her. You really get to see what she's like. She went to fashion college, and she has worked in the fashion industry prior to Big Brother; wow I never knew that. That is great I am glad she has experience behind her. It's good she isn't putting all her eggs in one basket. She comes across really nice and down to earth. (no surprises there) I see this show as a showcase and it will open more doors for her. You can't keep a good woman down no matter how hard some may try...

All the best Ash with the rest of the series

You deserve the best.

Take care

Hopefully we'll get to see the correct version eventually, in the right order and including the party. You can see some bits from the party in the opening titles!

Overall, this has great potential because Ash is such a natural in front of a camera.

They messed up the order of Thekla's one too, I reckon. The segment they showed in the middle of Aisleyne's day looks like it should have been in the middle of Thekla's episode (and wasn't)!

Either way, I really enjoyed the show. Aisleyne is such a lovely person and it really comes across. Plus she's so natural in front of the cameras now

Thanks for the screengrabs, they're all great pics!

I particularly like the one with Glyn and the one in the UbA dress. The former both reminds me of their conversations in BB7, but also shows how far Ash has travelled since - she just seems to "glow" in that pic. (It also looks like Glyn's "journey" has continued too). The other pic simply shows again just how photogenic (telegenic?) Aisleyne is - not to mention her taste and business acumen!

I have to admit I've watched all the repeats hoping they would correct things, but nope; it makes me chuckle. (Nothing to do with Ash). (Perhaps it's a case of if it's broke don't try to fix it) I though it was if it ain't broke don't try to fix it....(lol) No I am sure they will get it right next time round. I have respect for Red TV giving Ash this sort of exposure. It's new and naturally there will always be teething problems at the start. At least this time when part 3 came on I got a chance to leave a message for Ash who has been on line at the time.

Thats all for now...

So it looks like the problem won't be solved before Christmas then. Hopefully, things will get sorted out after January's meeting with Red TV.

According to the synopsis on episode 3 in the Sky Planner (which is this Thursday) they are showing both Thekla and Aisleyne so mixing the two may have been deliberate.

Or perhaps they're compiling the bits they missed into episode 3? There's also a Monica thrown into the mix too.

Anyway, thanks for the info. I'll add a couple of the newer dates to the Upcoming Things thread...

'Monica' is probably their attempt at spelling 'Bianca'

It would be no worse than 'Asly'

I do hope some butts are kicked at this January meeting.

For me this show is like rehabilitation for Aisleyne, after all the backlash and unfair treatment she received while she was on Big Brother. While Aisleyne is grateful for her time in the Big Brother House and the doors that this has opened for her, she would have done better if Endemol were on her side . This series on Red TV despite the initial teething problems should show her in a new real genuine light. How many people knew she went to fashion college? I didn't, I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. This ties in very nicely forthcoming clothing label. Ash is NOT a nobody she has gifts and talents, yes she looks great but that is not all she is about as some would suggest. I guess I am more excited about the clothing range, because to me that puts a definite stamp on her career. The other stuff like TV films and radio etc... is just a bonus, but her clothing label/career in fashion will show her in a different positive light...Who knows what will come off of the back of that...

I love the title of this series as well Celebrities (Stars At Work) another positive, and the fact that they want to make an exclusive show with Ash, says it all. You can't keep a good woman down.....

It's a shame about the live stream expiring. However, the shows are being recorded and should hopefully make their way into the Videos section of the site.

They split the program into three parts this time: Monica, Thekla and Aisleyne. Monica was a fairly uninspiring playboy model who obviously hasn't quite hit the big time the way that Thekla has.

They showed more of Thekla's photoshoot but this time the entire segment was subjected to some kind of judder which made it hard to watch.

Aisleyne's segment was a welcome relief. She came across as her usual good-natured, unassuming self. Not afraid to let the cameras see her pre-makeup

Most of the segment involved watching her have her hair done and some smalltalk in the back of a taxi featuring some hilarious anecdotes about her Dad and her Nan. Her favourite car is a Bentley, apparently

The caption said "To be contined" (sic)

I have to say, as much as I love to see Aisleyne in these shows they really are quite amateurishly done

Thanks for the summary, Julian. Even allowing for your "in-built bias", it seems clear who the real star is in this show.

And as a fully paid up grumpy old pedant, I'm frequently appalled at the standard of spelling on ALL TV channels.

Red's caption writer should be taken outside, and shot.

Or at least, given a good old fashioned bollocking, or in his/her case, a goold od fashoined bollckng.

Just watched my recording of the show. Aisleyne got the final two parts of this episode to herself. The third part showed her having her hair done at Adee Phelan's salon before the Charlie Brooker calendar shoot/OK! Xmas party. It didn't last long and was hard to hear what was going on due to the sound of hairdryers.

Then she was in the taxi on her way to the Charlie Brooker shoot. As julian already mentioned, she told some anecdotes about her Dad and Nan. Her Dad gave her a catalogue as a present once, and her Nan twice made Aisleyne believe she had won the lottery.

The fourth part featured more of the taxi ride, where she talked a bit about cars. She knows a lot about them from her Dad. Then the action switched to the Surya centre preparations and a chef was interviewed who used to cook for Madonna and Sting. Aisleyne wasn't there, as she was still at the CBSW shoot.

I haven't seen the latest episode but they really need to sort out the glitches. I don't think Ash should walk away from this as it presents too good an opportunity even if it is only to bump up her CV. Who knows if she has her exclusive show she may be able to take it to another TV company. I think the most thing I am concerned about is that a few of us can't even watch it. However, it's not all about the ratings, it's about the experience, and it gives Ash the opportunity to reveal the person who she really is without being manipulated, unlike when she was on BB. They also appear to value Ash as well which is more than I can say for Endemol (well they want to make an exclusive show for Ash) They realise her potential this should not be overlooked but commended IMHO. I think Red TV is predominately to showcase talent, of unknown and less known artists so to speak. I wonder if that includes the production Team/Camera men as well?? Will we ever get to watch this show online again???

I think Ash should have a word in their ear January 2008, and take into consideration the longterm benefits of the show and stick it out..

The filming is no reflection on her as a person. For those who may mock and say it is an obscure channel etc etc , well we all know she is about to appear on on ITV on a prime time show...It's all hush hush but just as well. Who knows what that could lead to....

Take care

Short and sweet yet still fascinating and compelling viewing.

I suspect once this is put together as a separate series and people in the industry get to see it she may be spoilt for choice with floods of TV offers.....Here's hoping. All you need is a fair and unbiased chance which is what this opportunity presents.

I have to say I didn't know Endemol were the production company behind Screenwipe. Still I have a strong suspicion that Charlie has a say of who he works along side, just a guess.

Interesting insight

Take care

Aisleyne didn't feature at all. It was just preparations for the party with Richard Curson and Madonna's former chef. The Cheeky Girls also turned up and practiced their act a lot.

Apparently RED are turning the cameras on themselves to shoot a 'fly on the wall documentary' about the station in action. Worth watching, for those who can get it.

Figures now out for Red TV's first week, after re-branding from Legal TV. The daily & weekly figures are up on Legal TV's final week, and the weekly figure was higher than anything Legal TV managed in its previous 7 weeks on-air. There are no figures for individual Red programmes however. I think the first 2 episodes of CSAW aired during this week, plus the odd repeat.

The behind-the-scenes show about Red TV, TV Reality, just finished. It focused on the studio side of things and I personally didn't find it that interesting.

Anyway, episode 7 of Celebrity: Stars at Work is on at 9pm today and 1.30pm tomorrow. The Sky synopsis suggests it should feature more footage from before the OK! party, and hopefully it will feature Aisleyne this time!

Times have been added here...

Just in the middle of watching today's episode. Part 1 was just more of Richard Curson preparing the party. However, part 2 finally featured Aisleyne's arrival. She had just come back from filming the Charlie Brooker special and checked out the all the decorations. She then visited and chatted with the chef. However, as soon as she went back to the main room the programme abruptly switched to a 1970s courtroom drama!

Part 3 - Aisleyne in her flat in her Unique dress, worried that she isn't in fancy dress like some of the other guests. Talks about the filming of Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe special. Talks about the OK! food feature with Leo the Lion, but she couldn't eat due to an upcoming hand operation. Talks about Unique Boutique, moving house, shows a heart-shaped
stone she found in the Sahara.

Part 4 - Waiting for the taxi. Shows off her "Mary Poppins" bag full of lots of things. Then becomes reluctant to go out as it's too cold and tries to wear a satellite dish for warmth! Talking about her fave TV/films: Family Guy, Green Mile, and Jeremy Kyle (sort of). Talking about why she wants to move, mainly for privacy.

It's repeated at 1.30pm tomorrow.

Thanks for the commentary.

How do you wear a satellite dish for warmth?

Ah! I see! Thanks!

What fabulous pictures! Further proof (if any were needed) Ash is SUCH a total natural in front of the camera.

And is that Princess too?

Yes, she was trying to take her to the party in her bag.

That cat looks well fed...

I think it just looks plump because of all the long hair. My Aunt and Uncle had a couple of cats like that. Gorgeous cat but I bet it leaves a lot of hair around in summer

This pic reminded me of:

Halfway up the stairs isn't up and isn't down.
It isn't in the nursery, it isn't in the town.
And all sorts of funny thoughts run round my head.
It isn't really anywhere, it's somewhere else instead.

Halfway down the stairs is a stair where I sit.
There isn't any other stair quite like it.
I'm not at the bottom, I'm not at the top.
So this is the stair where I always stop.

She looks so pretty.
And Ash doesn't look half bad either.

I wish I got Sky so I could see the programmes.

Mind you Ash won't get very good reception on Sky if she goes around wearing the dish like a hat.

As I'm in a "song lyrics" mode I guess the words for this pic are from Imagine:

"Above us only Sky"

It's on again at 1.30pm.

And in part 2, it again had the same phantom appearance by 1970s drama Crown Court.

And I recorded BBC1 by mistake.

Anyway, the show is on again at 7.30am/8pm/10pm tomorrow, so one of them is bound to be a repeat of tonight's show.

Here's a summary of last night's/this morning's show...

Part 1/2
Follows a model called Sophie.

Part 3
Aisleyne arriving at the party and getting papped. Inside getting photographed by a photographer. Talks to cigarette girl, as she used to be one. Very hard to hear anything in this part!

Part 4
See the chef in his "ho's" outfit. Other guests including Ziggy Lichman, Darryn Lyons, Nikki Grahame, Grace Adams-Short and Mikey Dalton. Photographed by another photographer inside on stairs. Eating marshmallows from a chocolate fountain. Interviews Mr. Midas who won Best Newcomer at Urban Music Awards, which Aisleyne would've co-hosted if she hadn't had to go abroad. She wants to do a collaboration with him.
